"This company is awesome. Very communicative, responsive, ethical, on time and even went the extra mile when it appeared some bubbles appeared. They came back immediately, re-sanded the floor and put another coat on. The floor looks fabulous and I will definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for this service and of course, these people will be the only company I use in the future. Thank you David and all of your employees for such great service and great work. AWESOME"

"I contacted Mark Bach for an estimate. Everything from estimate to completion went smoothly and we have a beautiful garage floor. We were able to schedule the work before we moved in, which made it very easy for me. Mark was at my new house a few minutes before me. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. He gave me the estimate, told me how the work would go and how long it would take. The crew arrived on time, worked hard, they were pleasant and professional, and the process went just as described. Everything went as planned and within the time frame I was given. I wish all projects went as smoothly as this one. I have had several people notice the floor and ask about who did it and how much it cost. This was money well spent, and I am very happy with the outcome."

"The original contract called for the drywall to be sub-contracted out to specialists. I could speculate as to why, but for whatever reason they decided to have their crew do the work. This was one of the most time consuming and painful parts of the process to watch, it is difficult for me to find words to express how cruel it was to leave these crew members in over their heads for weeks struggling without any help from someone knowledgeable. They would attempt to mud, and then call ME in to inspect the work, as if the home owner was their quality control supervisor. They were desperately trying to get it “good enough”, so that they could move on. At one point after they had primed, textured, and painted — an actual supervisor, Larry, finally showed up — saw how horrible the work was and made them sand down sections and re-mud and start over. They were already way over schedule at this point and this completely inept crew continued to stumble its way through attempting to finish the job, under-trained and under-supervised. At one point Larry told me he thought it was important that his employee keep doing it over until he got it right so that he would learn… at whose expense?! Glen and Larry can try to blame their workers, but no one was onsite supervising, and that is completely on them. Currently as I look at the “finished” walls, there are countless obvious sub-standard imperfections on every surface, but I was not going to drag this project out for additional weeks while they try and get their crew up to professional levels. At some point you have to cut your losses and move on, which is why I asked them to stop working and leave, having seen their crew repeatedly demonstrate that they did not possess the skills to get it right."

"They were great. They showed up when they said they're going to and did what they said they're going to do with the price that they said. The communication was stellar."

"I had my garage floor coated about five years ago. I love it. In September I contacted the owner, (through their website) Jenci for some small repairs. He responded a few days later saying they had a big job with the school district -it would be November before they would be able to get to it. That is fine I have no problem, I realize I am a small job-I don't expect it be fixed for free. In December I contacted Jenci again. No response. Again in December I decided to call the office directly. The receptionist was very sorry for not getting back to me. She told me she would leave a note on Jenci's desk to contact me. In January I contacted her twice - she finally said I should work directly with Jenci. It is now February 8. I sent Jenci a note yesterday that said I wasn't going to try contacting them again. There are other companies that I will contact. BTW - my contract says "lifetime guarantee". Whose lifetime?"

"Bob quoted “20-30 days” on a contract that is now on day 644 and counting, and so far $67,000 over budget. Considers work and materials that other contractors, and most reasonable people, would consider part of the original bid to be “change orders” (such as removing drywall before putting up HVAC ducts, or putting up drywall after putting up HVAC ducts, or painting after putting up drywall, or cutting concrete that they could have seen was there when doing the several site visits to put the estimate, bid, and subsequent contract in....) Constantly forgets previous discussions, agreements, and communications. Adds work that was never discussed or asked for while contracted work is months or even years behind schedule, all while asking for more and more money the few times he does show up on site - if you see Bob, he’s going to try and talk to you for hours about Trump or his ex-wife, and he’s going to ask for more “change orders” and thousands more dollars every time. Incredibly unprofessional work, incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful communications. Bob constantly tries to blame broken ageeements, shoddy work, and incompetent mismanagement on clients and his own workers. Gaslighting, mansplaining, condescending, no personal responsibility or business ethics. We have seen belittle his own workers and even smack one upside the head. Makes excuses for shoddy or behind schedule work by telling clients that he has hired homeless people, meth users, potheads, etc., gossips extremely personal information about the personal lives and health conditions of workers he hires, his own ex-wife and current girlfriend and her friends, etc., then accuses clients of having an “attitude” when issues with work or his unprofessionalism are brought to his attention. We made a HUGE mistake by not reading online reviews before hiring. Avoid Bob and FX Repair and Remodeling at all costs!"
