"Well, good and bad. The bad (which was actually probably great) is that when they arrived and looked at my gate, they explained to me exactly why putting a latch on the gate hadn't been done before (really pretty terrible original construction). We talked about our options for a while, and what I ended up with was a gorgeous new gate that not only latches shut and looks beautiful, I am confident it is built to last and not just taking the cheap and cheerful approach to getting things done. Oh and even better? The guy came out ON EASTER SUNDAY to do the repair work. Totally stunned, but he wanted to get the work done before they were busy with some larger projects. I almost can't wait for the rest of the fence to die so I can get these guys back out to do the rest."
