"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"We hired RENEW Remodeling & Design for a simple demo of our kitchen and stain concrete job on our existing floors. Make sure you get a detailed scope of work from this company along with signed copies of any payment- these guys will try to get over on you. What should've been a simple two week job turned into a 3 in a half month fiasco with constant back and forth with Blake. Between the inconsistent communication and drawn out phone calls that had nothing to do with getting solutions, we were met with constant excuses with no proper execution. We had to Manage the project ourselves as we couldn't trust them to manage it properly. Our Floors came out well below our expectations and no where near the vision that was presented repeatedly. We chose to pay them simply to complete the project. Only use them for Bathrooms and Kitchen's as their work is consistent there but stray away from any specialty work that they say they can do regarding flooring or anything on your mind. "

They were also very mindful of the rest of my home and protected my floors and cleaned at the end of their workday. They were punctual and arrived daily as scheduled, no unscheduled skipped days or late arrivals. One of the tubs which was installed began to leak, however, they responded quickly and resolved the issue without hesitation."
