"Living in a city that doesn’t require contractors to be incensed makes it EXTREMELY difficult to find someone who knows what they are doing and does it well. After moving to Houston I found this out the hard way as our home needed some TLC, I hired and fired least ten [so call carpenters] as this is not my profession (if I can do it better – there’s a problem), consequently I became a self taught handyman, I mean I couldn’t do worse than the people I hired and it cost me nothing.
