"It's hard to find reliable, trustworthy repair people of any kind. Well, I found H&K and the reviews led me to hire them. I cannot stress how impressed I was with Henry's attention to detail, pride in his work and friendliness. He explained what it would take to do the job and the cost. I had to have a bridge cabinet cut down to fit a combination microwave/vent hood over the range. He did this expertly and even helped install the microwave/vent hood. He also had to do some electrical to that same cabinet. Our job also included tile backsplash on two walls. Henry went way above just doing a good job, he went the extra mile to make sure the wife and I were satisfied..................... WITHOUT ASKING or pushing him, like some contractors you run in to. If you need any home repair done, H&K would be one of the first, if not the first, to contact for a bid. I won't bother getting quotes from another. He did not rush or cut corners and used high quality materials. He engaged in conversation while working and was pleasant to have in our home while he installed our new attic door. "They installed beadboard on the walls of kitchen and dinette, reframed the windows, painted all the cabinets, walls, and trim. They subcontracted a plumber to install sink, countertops, light fixtures. They put up a beautiful backsplash all around my large kitchen. He put tile down on the floor around where my toilet was reset. He fixed my door that wouldn't close, He repaired a large crack in my bedroom wall, re-textured and painted it. You couldn't even tell where it was when he was through. They worked hard on an old shed by reroofing it. They put up new siding and built an extension to the overhang in my cattle pen for the cows to use. They cleaned out the shed and hauled all the trash off. They also cleaned out a tractor shed and hauled off all the trash. I cannot think of two other people who work as hard as they do. They are kind and considerate and care about their customers. I appreciate that their prices are competitive. I highly recommend them."
