"We just had the Contractor's, Inc. give our kitchen a much-needed update. When deciding to do this work, we got quotes from several different companies. Our kitchen was old, but made with high quality materials and so we were really interested in cabinet refacing rather than completely replacing them. Several quotes later, and after speaking to several different companies, The Contractor's, Inc. was the best price but also the one company would do cabinet refacing that would also do the countertops and backsplash as well. This past week they came out on the exact date they said they would, were so friendly and courteous, cleaned up after themselves each day, and completed the work in three days as promised. The cabinets are beautiful, high quality cabinets, the countertops and backsplash look great and I feel like I have a whole new kitchen. Could not be happier with the whole experience from beginning until end."

"When we called to make an appointment, and I explained the problem, Erick explained that the minimum appointment time is an hour and a half for $160. He recommended that my wife and I come up with some other questions or ideas that the repairman could work on while he was out. <br /> Mitchell was prompt (arrived maybe 5 minutes before the appointment time) and quickly explained he might have to leave a little early since he had some family things to take care of, and that he would pro-rate the cost accordingly. He then quickly looked at the cabinet door, explained that he would two different types of glue for the areas of the cracks, and that he wouldn't clue the panel within the frame, since it is designed to float free and may crack over time if it were glued to the frame. <br /> Over about 20 - 30 minutes he worked away on the cabinet, using different clamps to help it set well, then touched up any extra glue. Mitchell explained what their goal was to have the fixed cabinet door look like it had never broken. I have to say he met that expectation. After looking at the cracked door now I can't even see where it had been cracked. <br /> I also explained a few other things which came to mind after our initial phone call. I also asked for some ideas on how to fix discoloration of the wood due to sun, how to touch up some scratches on a cabinet door, and the best way to change our swing door to a pull-out door for the trash. Mitchell put explained a thorough solution for fixing the discoloration and put together an estimate for me. He also provided a Web address for touch-up paint, since he didn't have any in the truck he could provide. He also gave me some advice on putting in a pull-out trash drawer, and offered to come out and attach it if necessary, as that would cost less than him ordering the parts, as he doesn't often do that sort of work. <br />"

"Mr. Diaz was not the lowest price quote we received, but he had great reviews and was very responsive. We found this carried on throughout the project. Unlike some other experiences we've had, he always came when he said he would. He was able to start almost immediately. Sometimes he shifted his schedule to respond to the weather and projects that were indoors or out, but he always let us know. The work was done quickly and the quality is very good. All of his crew were friendly and professional. He also saved us some money as we were about to order granite counters from the big orange box store and he was able to get a look we liked for considerably less and faster. He could have done the same for our cabinets, too, but we didn't have time to add that to the project. On top of all that, he guarantees his work for 2 years."

"The Kitchen and Bath Studio just completed a MAJOR kitchen remodel for me, for a rather large size kitchen (the pictures included do not do it justice). Dan and his crew were amazing, and went beyond what was required for the project. After dealing with Dan and his team, I have no idea why anyone in Maryland would want to use any other company for any of their major home remodeling projects. My husband and I are extremely picky, and we did not have ONE complaint or issue during the entire remodeling project, which involved a complete demolition, redesign, flooring, cabinets, painting, backsplash, appliances, plumbing, electrical, etc. Those that know me will say that it is extremely rare for me not to find some issue during a major project, so I believe that Dan (The Kitchen and Bath Studio) is equivalent to a real Unicorn :). Dan paid attention to details (some of which were major) that NO other kitchen remodeler ever inquired about, and we got five other estimates! He truly cares about the quality of work from his team, is a true perfectionist, and is very patient throughout the entire design process, as I (painfully) changed my mind a number of times on the overall design. His estimate was MUCH more competitive than the others I received; one thing that I noticed when reviewing all the other estimates was that the competitors all used lower-grade materials, while Dan used higher end, better quality products, and still had a better estimate! His entire team is hardworking, completely trustworthy, and extremely kind; because of this, I had no problem leaving my house when they were there during the course of the project. If there was a rating above A+, Dan and his crew would most certainly get it. I will absolutely, without a doubt, use them for any additional projects we have moving forward. I highly recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio!"

"Issue #1: Started at first meeting in October 2014. Salesperson did NOT and consistently DID NOT HEAR what i was describing to him. Even with a wood sample.  He kept going on and on and the quality of their work. So, to save $10,000 in buying new cabinets we decided upon this option. <br /> Issue #2: Another person came out to finalize the measurements. Apparently Salesperson #1 did not LISTEN to what we wanted with replacing the drawers. They were just going to reface them. This would have left the drawers looking and working unbalanced and uneven and interiors being worn and ugly compared to the rest of the  "new stuff".  Salesperson #2 said it would be $450 extra to replace all the drawers with new ones. Wow. Ok. I needed them to work and look good. My old drawers have become crooked - since they were installed in 1988. I don't know WHY Salesperson #1 didn't suggest that at the initial meeting. <br /> Issue #3: We were to receive samples of the wood we chose and the color we chose. At the initial meeting, we told Salesperson #1 that we wanted a stain with grain showing, not a flat paint! We said this at least 3 times. What do we get as a sample????? Yes, a FLAT painted piece of wood with no grain showing. So, it takes another 2 1/2  weeks to get another sample. <br /> Issue #4: Approved sample. It is now the end of November! They said they wouldn't be able to come install until January! Yes, it took 3 MONTHS for this process start to finish. I could have received NEW cabinets in 6 weeks. <br /> Issue #5: Installation time. They had to build a new cabinet for over the refrigerator. It was clearly CROOKED! The bottom of the cabinet was 1 inch wider by the time you got to the top of the cabinet! AND where  the inside hinges were there clearly was a mistake and was all GNARLED up on the inside! HOW could a "craftsmen" leave such an obvious mess of a creation and not expect us to NOTICE??!?!? Seriously?!  It looked like something a high school shop student did.  We told them to replace the whole thing <br /> Issue #6: They did not tell us during the initial visit that the build-ups of the cabinets to reach the ceilings were just FRAMES! The interior and the back (wall exposed) were not finished. Now the inside of the top shelf of my cabinets are the ugly burnt orange color of the previous paint job. I could have painted that if i had known it would be showing!!!!!!! <br /> Issue #7: Upon final inspection 3 of the drawers were WAY off color to the rest of the cabinets. It looked like they were missing a coat of stain!!!! So, they ordered and replaced them  2 weeks later. <br /> Issue #8: We were provided a can of paint to paint the inside edges of the inside of the frames of the cabinets to match the outside.. really? I have to actually do work  on the cabinets i paid  $15,000 for ????!! <br /> The craftsmanship was definately was under par for what they told us. It seemed like they just wanted to get in and out without really taking a step back and looking at the work. Things still are uneven, but can't do anything b/c the laminate is glued down.  Salesperson didn't even follow up the week the workers were here to check how things were going. Once he received the check, he didn't care. <br /> If I had to make the decision over again, i DEFINITELY would have gone with NEW cabinets. I could have received them in 6 weeks, instead of a total of 3 1/2 months, consistent color, better workmanship and a lot less headaches. <br /> <br /> <br />"

I couldn't have been happier with their superb work, friendliness, attention to detail, professionalism, and punctuality. Quartz installers and plumbers were equally impressive.. Owner and sales rep even stopped by to witness the project progression. In other words, class act all the way. Our updated kitchen looks beautiful.
