Prior to the appointment, Douglas advised me to purchase replacement motors only rather than buy new exhaust fans when I discussed the issue with him. This was consistent with what I had researched online and discussed with a hardware store employee. Saved time, money, and the headache of having to repair and paint the ceiling. A good experience overall."

"Serge is wonderful. He tells what the job cost (replace toilet cost $250, he does not "pad" his labor cost. He does not nickle and dime you over the price of nails or screws or ther materials. He re-tiled our bathroom. We bought the tiles and matching grout. He had the morter and spacers- which were factored into his cost. We had a few hiccups with things not fitting right , Serge was very patient, gave us options, and worked to solve the issue. I would definitely hire him for more jobs."

"Had a soffit/front porch bead board repair done where some of the bead boards had buckled. Instead of pulling enough bead board down to re-install properly, the grooves (tongue and groove) were rip sawed off and caulk was used to fill the gaps. Naturally, with expansion and contraction, the caulk separated from the joints and led to several unsightly areas. An offer was made to repaint, however, we do not feel as that will work over time. We are going to rip the entire area down and replace with new bead board as the multiple coats of paint (including interior grade paint) that were slapped on are unsightly in their own right. On a good note, we had bead board added to the balance of the house and the work that was completed within the allotted time frame (we had to do some of the finish work ourselves) does look good and we are happy with that. I will say that I should have been more diligent on oversight of the job. Tongue and groove is meant to allow for expansion and contraction. As the grooves were sawed off of the planks, gaps were inevitable. Update 1/25/2019: Mr Handyman returned, tore down all of the originally repair porch ceiling (previously repaired) and properly installed new bead board (purchased by us) after painting it at their shop. We are very pleased to provide this update and are very happy now with the porch ceiling."

Scott from Jack of All Trades did a great job repairing the plumbing, testing to make sure it was fixed and no other leaks existed, and repairing the drywall so it looked like it never happened. While he was at it we also tossed a few extra items from the honey-do list and they were fixed like it was nothing. You can tell these guys have a ton of experience, they knew all the tricks to fix everything far easier than I expected. I'd have them back to work on my house again without a second thought."

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"
