"I went to Angi trying to find a reputable company to change my siding, roof, and gutters. I trusted my gut to go with Home Genius because of their reviews not only on Angi but on google as well. "Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer."

I initially sent an email request for an estimate from Carl's website. I got a quick response from their office scheduling an appointment.  Then I got a call from Mike McDonough, the project consultant.  Mike confirmed the date and time that he would come out to look at the property, discuss the type of fence we wanted, and give us an estimate.  He arrived on time and was very polite.  He measured the yard and we picked out the type of fencing that we wanted installed.  He emailed me a quote the next morning.  Of the three quotes that I received, Carl's was in the middle price wise.  However, the type of wood was a better quality.

Carl's crew came out on the date selected.  They were extremely polite and professional.  The crew did not even take a break.  The guys did a great job.  The fence looks awesome.  We are very happy with the type of fence that we picked and the final result.  There were a few pickets that were slightly damaged.  I emailed the office and they sent a crew back out to replace them. 

We were extremely happy with Mike's professionalism and his help in selecting the right type of fence for us.  Mike was very helpful and answered all of our questions by email or phone. 

We will absolutely be calling Carl's again for the next project at our house.
