"Adrian was great. My brother was at Home Depot trying to figure out what he needed to buy to clear a clog that was causing our toilets to back up. Adrian noticed he was needing assistance and they struck up a conversation ending with Adrian coming to the house to clear the clog. Talk about divine intervention!! "When I called on a Sunday to describe my problem I asked directly "How much will it cost to clear the drain?" I was told $139 today or $49 tomorrow. I thought $49 was a phenomenal deal so I said sure, come on out on Tuesday. I guess I should have asked what their Tuesday rate was because when the tech showed up on Tuesday he said it would be $175! Apparently the $49 was just to come to my house. I guess we should have just told him to leave because either I was lied to over the phone or we were gauged. Had I known what they really charged, I would have shopped around. This is a mistake I won't make again. This is a shame because in all other aspects Service One seemed like a good company. Too bad their deceptive pricing had to ruin a good thing."
