"I had to wait in line for a while to have the work begin due to the backlog of work that the company had yet to complete. I can tell you it was well worth the wait. The boss, as well as his assistants, went about their work with the care and precision of the professional builders and artists that they indeed were. In such work, there are always surprises and glitches. In such matters, I was always consulted and advised as to the possible solutions. The job took longer than I had expected but, was I satisfied? Yes, the shower is not only functional but a true work of art that I enjoy every day. The entire group was considerate, polite and respected the sanctity of my home. Sincerely, Sam Owens. Saint Albans, West Virginia."

"We started with wanting new windows in our sunroom. GBS was the only company that worked with us to get top quality windows for that space that was always cold or hot. They were comparable in price with other companies, they were punctual, gave quality installation and checked with us later for our opinion of their work. We had them replaced all of our windows over a three year period. Excellent home town company."

"<p>He did an excellent job.    At the time, he was managing the maintenance of an apartment complex, so he was only available on the weekends.  However, the work was completed every weekend, including holidays (July 4 specifically).   He kept us appraised of progress and tweaked his work along the way.   For example, when he started we didn't think there was that much dirt and sediment on the boat launch. and we asked that the dirt be placed upon the upper level.   Once we realized how much dirt there was, he changed the design of the wall to include deadmen (I think that's what he called them) to ensure the wall wouldn't collapse.   He did a wonderful job and would periodically request we review his work to ensure we were happy.   He is a hard worker and never sits still.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I like the fact he was honest and very helpful with explaining to me exactly what I needed. He finished the job before his deadline . Not to mention he did a great job and it really helped the look of my house. I also decided to hire his company to replace my siding & build a deck. My house finally looks like the dream home I've always wanted. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any of my construction needs. <br />"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Kilsyth, WV

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
