C.S. Remodeling Inc is new to Angi, we are looking to provide a variety of Skilled Home improvement services. We have been in business since 2001, all of our work has been through personal referral and is 100% residential. I often refer to us as old house carpenters. I've worked on homes from the 1900's to homes built in 2017. Being familiar with the different types of construction techniques lessens the surprise factor and makes modernization or repairs easier. I'm hoping to make the jump to Angi a good one and to continue to provide a positive and comfortable remodeling, repair or home improvement experience. Thanks Craig Stemley

"The GC, Don came out to give the estimate. He was knalagble and have a detailed list of what was going to be done and how long it would take. The estimate came in half of what the others 3 companies, I'm not sure if this was done on purpose to get the job or not. There was an issue with the old paint that was on the walls prior to starting the job. Don found a solution to fix it for the new paint that was going on over the old paint. This fix was part of the ariganal estimate. The work started on time with Melbin. Melbin had a hard time following the work listed on the estimate. He tried adding thing to the work that was called out for. He also went to the pait store to find out how to deal with the paint issue when that was already addressed. The store associated came up with a different solution that would cost me more for the work. Melbin called Don and Don called me to let me know it would cost me almost as much as the ariganal estimate. Work was stopped for less than half a day."

He was the last contractor to polish off mitigation of mold and water damage—installing new flooring, repairing/texturing/painting sheetrock, beadboard, cabinetry, moldings and baseboards. He quietly and professionally completed his work adding the finishing touches so we could reoccupy our house. Grateful to Serj for putting our house back together again!"

"If I could do minus on the stars I would give a -5 stars. This company is horrible and Skylar Jump is rude beyond beleif. He came out and did the bid for the job, and he told me what it would cost me. 1/2 down and the other 1/2 upon completion of the job. They installed new drywall but did not make it flush at the corners, leaving big gaps and putting in large gouges. He and his crew left garbage all over the yard, stole materials and left my house compromised and exposed to the elements. Also damaged some of my vintage furniture from the Hoquiam Castle. So no replacing those. He was calling me and his crew inappropriate names and telling me that I don't listen, constantly interrupting me and told me that my family member who is an expert in siding doesn't know anything and started dising people. Also will not give you a receipt for money paid and will not give you a break down of the job. Also, when picking up materials from Home Depot, he will charge materials for another job onto your account. Do not hire this company unless you want to punish yourself and lose your money."

I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

You'll get a better product for less money. With windows it's all about heat loss and they measure that with what they call a U-Factor, the lower the number the better. Being a PUD approved contractor they require a U-Factor of .30. We can get that number down to a .21 for open windows and .18 for non opening windows. A third better but does not cost a third more. And if you live where there is a lot of noise it will almost eliminate it coming through the windows!
