"Mike O'Brien (the owner) was difficult to get a hold of and it took multiple attempts and numerous voicemails before he responded. He apparently attempted to contact me through Angie's List email only. I was scheduled for work on Fri., April 25 only to have a and quot;no-showand quot; for the day. I stayed home from work and did not leave the house in the hopes that someone would show up…but to no avail. To Mike's credit, when he finally called me back, he offered to double my deal purchased for no more money (additional 8 hours of work). I appreciated his customer service to make it right for his oversight on scheduling.
His employee (Mauricio) was great and did everything I requested of him and more. I would hire him again in a heart beat. My concern is that some vendors on Angie's List do not value customers who purchase deals through Angie's List and as such provide questionable customer service. I am having the same experience with a landscaper who I have to continually and quot;track downand quot; to find out when the work will be completed.
I might consider MPO Builders again the future with clear communication regarding what, when, where, and who. My only consideration is a result of having a great experience with Mauricio directly. He was great. One could speculate that Mike hires good people.

"I have 4.5 acres and I live on the side of the highway. Every winter I get blocked in a few times. Andrew removes the snow so I can get out. In the summer if there is any trash, he cleans the frontage of the property for me. He makes sure that it's mowed and looks nice. He has fair pricing and he is young and customer service oriented. His communication is excellent, he calls every two weeks to see how I'm doing, when it snows. He's very enthusiastic about what he does."
