"After having a troubling experience with another well known Baton Rouge roofing company, I was glad that Garcia Roofing was a completely different experience. The first part of my experience was meeting with Darrel Walker and going through his thorough inspection of my roof and over my options of repairing vs replacing. I asked a ton of questions and received all the information I needed to make my decision. The process was informative and stress free. The second part of my experience was the roof replacement process. I really appreciated the constant communication from the project manager, Jose Vargas. Jose was able to keep me up to date on the progress of the project and walk me through the work done afterward. I also received messages from the office project team with updates on material deliveries and repair dates. Going through any major home repair or replacement can be a very stressful task. "We are in the middle of a global pandemic (Coronavirus), but I discovered one of our windows, which had been concealed by a piece of furniture, was shattered and about to fall out. Relief Windows came out and gave me a VERY reasonable estimate to replace the broken window. I decided to go ahead and have a few others replaced, too, since they were not in great shape, either. Well, they not only gave me a very good price at an awesome discount, they never once tried to "upsell" me or tack on additional fees. Yesterday, their installers came out and I have to say, I am so impressed! Not only are these windows the nicest I have ever owned, but the installation process was smooth and fast! The team that came out was so polite and friendly, but they made a point of keeping a safe distance since we are, in fact, still under the Coronavirus quarantine. They were such hard workers and cleaned up every bit of their mess when they were finished. They even went above and beyond on repairing the trim around the broken window! "Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"They arrived at the site later than scheduled. Installed the windows the best they can, as we are learning now. The sales person emphasized that if anything is wrong with any of the windows, the window part will be replaced promptly. One of the front windows had misaligned grids between the top and bottom sashes. We were promised that the sash with misaligned grids will be replaced; the necessary window information was supposedly recorded, but we never heard back from the sales representative even after multiple calls to the company office. <br /> For the past four months we have been renovating our house. The changes to the house triggered a safety code requirement to install larger windows on the second floor. My husband, I, and our builder attempted multiple times to contact Capital Improvements for a quote for new windows in order to ensure that they match with the windows on the rest of the house. At this point we wanted to give the company another chance. However, no one contacted back any one of us. We resorted to going to the office in person where we were given the sales representative's cell phone number. To make the long story short: Capital Improvements gave our builder a quote for the two new windows after multiple requests and exchanges. The quote was delaying the project and when it finally arrived, it the prices were rather high. We had already got an alternative quote that turned out significantly lower than the one from Capital Improvements and had decided to buy the windows from the alternative provider in order to keep the project on track. <br />"
