We used the Hardie Board and they had to remove multiple layers of previous siding, replace trim, facia and soffits etc. They were able to add insulation in our old house, which has made a nice difference. There were only minor issues, for instance something they used to cover nail holes dried the wrong color about a year later. But they came and fixed it no charge, and the house looks beautiful."
