"Hired Appliance Magician to service a GE Refrigerator that was not cooling properly. The technician", Artem Hxxxxxx, arrive on time and I immediately knew there was a problem as he did NOT speak English - Also, he did not know how to service my refrigerator - He spent 90% of the time on his cell phone getting instructions from his boss - He never checked the diagnostic service codes on my refrigerator and I could not t ask him to check them as we could not communicate. After 45 minutes of removing panels in my fridge and looking at things , he handed me his phone to talk with his boss (who talked in very broken English) who told me my defrost heater was broken and the fridge could be repaired for ;about $750 . My fridge had no frost/ice build-upo on any coils he checked, nor was there any water in the case, which my limited knowledge told me was not compatible with his diagnosis. I feel I was ripped off of the $69 trip charge as nothing was done, Company NOT vetted!!!"

"Hired Appliance Magician to service a GE Refrigerator that was not cooling properly. He came with parts that he thought were causing my problem from discussion over the phone. Unfortunately, the parts he came didn't fit my dryer. "i want to be very honest about this review. I called this company listed in the Neighbor to Neighbor book that came to my mailbox. I figured since there was only 1 appliance repair listed that they had done the "homework" for me......not so Technician Mike showed up during scheduled time... that was all the good news i have for them. $60 later, he couldn't find the model on my old Whirlpool stove and gave me an estimate so "out there" based on the fact he couldn't find the model #. He also had an attitude which does not help transactions go smoothly and spoke to my husband and I as if we were idiots when i asked him to explain something to us. I am disappointed and out $60. Oh and his parting words ---If i can find the model # they can come back and repair it based on what they find and --oh---i'll get the $60 applied to labor----r u kidding me??????"

"Stuff happens, and this business knows how to handle it! We had a stain on the ceiling. Ofri from BTB came over and turned on the water from the upstairs bathtub and then the shower stall. The ceiling became moist after the shower was turned on. Ofri then came back with a plumber. He turned on the upstairs bathtub. After they left, water dripped from the ceiling. Ofri had the plumber immediately send over a team for a service call. They broke open a hole in the ceiling and found that a pipe leading to the bathtub was so rusty it had holes. They took videos showing other pipes leading to the bathtub were also very rusty. While the team was still there, Ofri gave us prices, sent over the paperwork and the pipes were replaced within a of couple hours. Fabulous! Ofri had thought it would take a lot longer to complete the plumbing work. Therefore, her pricing did not align with the actual work performed. She brought in Alon, who substantially reduced the price to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and reasonableness earned them my highest rating. Thank you Ofri, Alon and the BTB team!"
