He provided a "ballpark" estimate according to my measurements and then when we decided to hire him, he came out and gave us a final quote. We received one additional estimate from another company, which was slightly less than Statewide Fencing, but it also didn't have as many posts and we felt it would not be the high quality we were looking for. "It took a while to confirm what the gate would look like, and agree on exactly what we wanted. It was a big project and we wanted to make sure that we were clear about what we were agreeing on. Once we did that, we were scheduled for the work. The 2 men who did the work were really great. They were very skilled, offered great suggestions, and were always pleasant. They seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. They were on the job early and worked steadily until finished. This was a big ticket item for us, but we got a lot for it. West-Meyer was patient with us as we made our decisions. They are very busy, so we tried to be patient in return.
