The reason for the quality ding: There was an issue with air flow to the roof we discovered years later and Eugene has been very responsive to help get the roof air flow dialed in appropriately. Once the air flow update is finished I will be sure to increase the quality score up by a star or two. He's a great friendly and timely roofer who I'd recommend for anybody in the area."

"From start to finish A Better Roofing company was outstanding. One of the few companies I've spoken to that hasn't exaggerated on work or used scare tactics. They were honest from the beginning with a price around half of the next cheapest bid with the same materials. We had a fair amount of mold and wood rot on our decking so most of the plywood needed replacing. Alan didn't try to make the damage seem worse than it was and gave us a very reasonable estimate on new plywood. One of the guys from a different company was offering to buy me a beer because the mold was "sooo severe" and he was sorry for me. Alan gave us a recommendation on a mold company who actually ended up saying it wasn't too bad. The roof replacement itself was great. The workers were nice, respectful and really fast. I have a friend that used to do roofing that commented on how impressed he was with their attention to detail. The workers cleaned everything up meticulously without leaving any nails, staples or other materials in the lawn. Next time I need a roof, I won't hesitate to call them."

"After I purchased my little â Fixer-Upperâ , everyone that came to the house to fix things always made a comment about our roof. When we purchased this house we were told it was a â New Roofâ that has just been put on in March of 2020. When different workmen kept mentioning it, I finally listened and got qualified roofers over to get their opinionâ ¦..and when they agreed, I got bids on a new roof. I got four bids and one was from Temo with TJ Roofing LLC. He went up on the roof and when he came down he sat down with me and told me that I really had a major problem going on with my roof. His honest and caring discussion with pictures and a video of him lifting a corner of a shingle and pulling out a nail with his fingers lead me to choose his family-owned company to take care of my roof. His bid was very competitive to the other bids and very fair. It did not take long after they began to remove the shingles to see what was really wrong with the roof. Whomever had put on the new roof â just put on new shingles over really rotted wood and broken joists. The roof did not have enough vents and the two that were there were blocked and not installed correctly. Temoâ s team worked diligently and quickly and had the roof of the house and garage replaced correctly within 3 days. Their concern for doing a great job and respect for my property showed each and every very long day that they were here. They worked very late one day to be sure that the roof was sealed as we had heavy rain and winds in the middle of the job. I stopped counting on how many times these athletic men went up and down the ladder, lifting and carrying tools and equipment and throwing rotted plywood into their dumpster truck. The cleanup was as meticulous as the job that they did and they even matched the roof of the dog house to the house and garage. "I want to thank Avi and his team for helping me stay within budget and fixing a terrible roof leakage. Not only that, but his team also found another area of my roof that was severely damp and needed repair with a new covering. Avi contacted me before repairing any additional findings and informed me of the issue, why it was important to repair, and the cost to fix it. I, of course, moved forward with the repair and pictures were taken to show the changes. The only reason I give them a 4 star rating is due to the confusion of being able to also clean the roof. At the beginning, I had asked for the repair of roof, a vent repair, and a cleaning of the roof (removing moss and using a powder to keep it from growing back). All of it was done including the additional repair, but the roof cleaning was not done to the expectation that was described to me. Multiple parts of the roof were missed and sadly, not all moss was removed. Because my roof is very steep, Avi made the decision to refund me a majority of the cost back for the cleaning, which I appreciated greatly. Though now I have to look for another roof cleaner. :( The rest of their work was beautiful and I truly felt like Avi cares for the work he and his team do. I mean, he even came back a few days later to show me all the changes when I requested it. If it came down to it, I would likely ask for their help again for any roof repair or complete replacement. :)"
