"The tile work. electrical, and drywall was in turn subcontracted to subs of his recommendation.  The work he completed was professional grade, Mitch is a perfectionist, and a tool nut.  He loves his tools and uses them to great advantage.  He made new upper cabinets, raised panel, and an arch to connect, then put crown molding to top off everything.  Both bathrooms turned out twice as nice as I expected, but also cost more than I had hoped, but that was not his fault, the tile work was 50% of the job, but was worth it in the end. <br /> I would definitely use him again, and plan to do so when the kitchen is remodeled.  There are two thing I would ask him to do differently.  The first is to manage the subs.  Although he brought in great subs in, it was not clear if he was acting as a general contractor, or not, and left details of working with the subs to me (sometimes), which caused some confusion.  The second is that he work from a fixed bid.  He came in on a variable time and material bid, but when he went over his estimate, he agreed to change to a fixed bid for the remainder of the work so it was not an open ended job, that was very nice.  He ended up eating some of the cost as things always happen that are not anticipated, then there has to be some negotiating as to who should cover those costs.  Mitch was always honest and fair in those negotiations, and we are very happy with the final outcome."

"The installation went well, the problem was that the fence took 2 months to arrive. The color and size was a special order, and supplier had just made their customized run so we had to wait until the next run. Blue’s fence communication was bad, the original date for install came and I had to call them when they did not show up. They then updated on issue. I told them when the second month came, that if it did not arrive and get installed within the week I was canceling the order. It arrived the next Tuesday and they installed it Wednesday"

"We contacted Coors for a quote on a new front French door. Scott came out within a week to take a look at the door we were hoping to replace. I was very impressed that he took the entire trim off my existing door to get an accurate measurement for the new door. He provided us with a quote for the new door within the week and kept in great contact with us while the door was ordered. When they installed the new door, they did a fantastic job and even took the extra time and effort to match the trim stain exactly. We couldn't of asked for a better end result! In fact, we are having them replace another door next month. Very professional, punctual, and great to work with!"

"Initially, I was suspicious of Lowe's, a big box national chain. When I approached Mike Peterson, one of the cabinet people there, I did not have high hopes. However, Mike quickly showed me what it meant to be a pro. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Mike moves very quickly. It only took him 2 days to put together the initial design, after he had got the measurement. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. Mike is very responsive to my email queries, and usually responds within the same day. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3. Mike is very knowledgeable about Kraftmaid cabinets, and has good tastes. (1) there is a large surface area where my line of floor cabinets faces the eat-in area and I asked Mike's inputs for decorating this area. His answer: 3 door panels side by side. Simple. I am looking at that surface area right now. It really looks good. <br /> <br />(2) I like glass-door wall cabinets but could not figure out what to put in where. In my initial design I put 2 narrow glass-door units on either side of a corner unit. They looked so weird that I gave up on them. Again Mike had a solution: reduce the size of the corner unit. I am looking at the finished product now. The corner unit is still large enough for my storage needs, and the 2 glass doors, wider, look great. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4. In the installation stage, design met reality and various issues came up (I believe this is true of any design and any plan). On some occasions I needed additional parts (e.g. a valence), and on other occasions the ordered parts did not work as expected. When I told Mike I needed new parts, he never asked "whose fault is this?", but ordered these parts promptly, free of charge, and having them delivered to my house. This is one of the best customer-service experiences I have ever had. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Overall, Lowe's has surpassed all my expectations, especially in post-sales customer service. A very pleasant surprise! <br />"

"They are terrific. I absolutely love them. They will be coming back in the spring to do my roof. The guy suggested that I get the work done in the spring. When he came out to do the work, he removed my back door and put siding on the outside. He finished the inside. He changed the bathroom door for me. He also installed a new natural gas, tankless water heater for me. He was just terrific. Even the people, who worked for him, were outstanding. He also did a panel in the bedroom. They were all fantastic. He knows that I am a widow and has come back out several times to help me with my driveway. He was the most reasonable. I spent over $3000 on the job. He did excellent work. He is such a nice person. You will feel totally comfortable around him. He explains everything he does. He and his crew go out of their way in doing their job. I will use this company again in the future."
