"Repair Service to Fix Gas Boiler - WM Henderson first sends out a tech who is not familiar with gas boilers and admits there is an issue but does not know how to diagnose it. I had to pay $89 for this. Instead of having the right person come out, I had to to actively call again to get someone else to come out. The 2nd tech diagnosed the issue, but wants to charge me the same $89 that I already paid. - and quotes me $380 for the repair - and has to order the part. I agree and then call back the next day to confirm part is on order - and they tell me the charge is $1,015. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss, and no one is available and no one calls me back. I bought the replacement part from a supply where house (confirming it works with my make/model of boiler) and it cost me $165. I have had other scheduling issues with them as well. Don't use them!!!!!!!!"

After the third cancellation, I asked the scheduler to escalate the case to a supervisor which he told me he did. But the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called again and escalated again, still the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called at least twice after that and was told that my case was already escalated to a female manager, but still she never called me back. All I got from the Horizon phone operators was repeated empty promises that “someone will call you back in 12 hours, etc.” But they never called back to commit to either providing the AC maintenance service or cancelling my contract and refunding my money in full. What makes matters worse is that none of the Horizon Services phone operators who answered my repeated calls was able to transfer me to a manager to speak with in real time. These operators said that they could only “email the senior manager or the concern department”. What a disappointment, and what a lousy excuse to ignore a contracted customer. I truly regret hiring Horizon Service and signing a contract with them and I will never recommend them to anyone. The failure by Horizon Services to provide the AC maintenance per the contractual agreement (it’s now mid-summer and my aging AC unit was not serviced to date) and the fact that their customer service manager never bothered to respond to my repeated phone complaints speak volumes about the unprofessional way they have treated me."

"They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."
