On the day the trees were removed, the weather had been very wet and the crew laid down boards to protect my lawn from the removal and grinding equipment. "Nice people but sloppy workmanship - low spots in driveway cause puddles when raining.  They were very nice and responsive but the workmanship and attention to detail was a bit lacking - no transit or levels used.  After showing them the one low spot in the middle of my driveway, they did come out and replaced that particular section. Now the saw cuts and broom finish is different than the rest, but the low spot is gone.

"I have trees in the front of my house. 3 years ago I had a company (Rooter MD) come out and use a high pressure water system to cut the roots out. That cost me $800  The day before I had Rooter MD come out to clear the clog. They charged me $198 to "poke" a hole thru the tree roots of the main line and to clear the laundry room line. However, my laundry tub still did not drain. They told me it was the trap and it would have cost additional money to clear that. They also told me I needed to either pay another $900 for the water jet to fully clear out the tree roots in the main line or pay over $7500 to have my main line replaced or upgraded. Foolishly I let them leave without clearing the laundry tub drain. I tried clearing that drain myself but was not sucessful.
I called Chris from Clog-busters late in the day. He first tried to fit me in but had to schedule me for the next day. He sent his guys out the first thing the next day. They used an "expando-blade" rooter to cut out all of my tree-roots and the cleared the laundry tub drain. they showed me a before and after video of my main drain proving the difference. When they arrived my main drain was already backed up. The $198 I spend with RooterMD was already clogged and basically did nothing.
The video of the drain showed that it was in good shape and these guys told me that tree roots are a common problem that can be resolved by having this expando-blade rooting done every other year. They also told me that they could replace my main for under $4000 if I ever decided to do so.
The bottom line is they are an honest and competent provider that I will be happy to recommend to others and will definitely be using again.

"We hired Edwin Anthony Homes to build a new house in the downtown Royal Oak area.  We worked with them from the initial blueprint stage through the final punch list and they did a very professional job. 
They handled permits, inspections and subcontractors as well as a large variety of miscellaneous issues that inevitably arise in a project of this size.  John and Todd were very knowledgeable about the building process and kept the project on track despite our decision to start in the middle of the worst Michigan winter I've ever seen.  John has built over 600 homes so he knows how to avoid potential issues.  He also had a number of clever ideas to optimize the space, smooth out the construction process and save money.  And he proved you can excavate, pour concrete, and frame in a frigid and snowy winter if you have good planning, good subs and attention to the small details.
They have had extensive long-term relationships with the subcontractors they used which I think contributed to the quality of the build, the competitiveness of their pricing and the lack of issues during the build process.  I know they do smaller projects as well, but the way they handled everything from the demo of the existing house to the constuction of the new one showed they know what they're doing and are capable of handling big projects.
Communication was very good throughout, and they were generous with their time when it came to mulling over design decisions or selecting items.  In sum, I would happily use them again.
