"Shake Guys is a great company to do business with! They are prompt and timely with their service when it comes to scheduling. As far as workmanship they just cannot be beat and I would recommend them over any other Cedar Shake roofing company or Shake restoration in the Metro area. We have used several in the past. One of the things that sold me on the Shake Guys that others did not do, is that they would do minor repairs before restoration. They did such a great job and were quick and efficient. Also, the outside of our home is cleaner now than it was before they came! This was our first time using the Shake Guys after many have recommended them.Their employees were polite, well dressed and used safety harnesses! "Short version: Sam is awesome to say the VERY least. He knows what he is doing, does not try to rip you off with service, and minimums, and stands behind his work. I will definitely be using him going forward if I ever need my roof repaired. Long version: Back in April 2022, I realized I had a major roof leak that would leave a massive puddle inside of my garage after heavy rain. I inquired on Angi.com, the morning I realized it was the roof leaking. I had a roofing company just pop up to inspect the damage, and without even pulling his ladder to actually inspect the roof, proceeded to tell me what the issue was and that they could get it fixed ASAP, but they have a minimum fee of $725. As I was talking to the roofer from the other company, I received a text from Sam. Shortly after the roofer left, I responded to Sam and he said that he would be in my area the following morning and could stop by. Sam came out the next day, actually climbed up on the roof, did a thorough inspection, and told me exactly what the problem(s) was. He quoted me a price significantly lower than the other company and said he could come out a few days later (because it was still snowing... in April). He sealed the windows and flashing, then asked me to let him know if the roof leaked at all after. A day or so later we had heavy rains and very strong winds in my area (I live on a hill) so the wind had lifted the shingles on the corner of the roof which caused water to enter the garage. I contacted Sam, and he came out the same day, and repaired/sealed the roof, and again instructed me to reach out if the roof leaked at all. It is July 15, 2022 and we have had quite a few heavy rains/strong winds since April 2022 (it is actually raining right now), and the roof has not leaked at all. Thank you again Sam, I sincerely appreciate it!!!"

"Robert was a pleasure to work with and gave me a great deal compared to two other competitors. His team did a great job too, against adversity, and finished the job in just two days as promised. First, they discovered that my sheathing was rotting due to high moisture and poor ventilation in the attic of my 26yr old home. They successfully replaced 55 sheets of 1/2" plywood, without hesitation, after my approval, to keep the job on track. Better even yet, they resolved the sources of the moisture and lack of ventilation to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Second, at the start of the 2nd day, their ladder hoist broke down, which I expected to halt work (not getting heavy packages of shingles to the roof). But, instead of a delay, the team members just carried them up the ladder manually to get the job done on time. You don't see that kind of commitment very often in this new world order.
