"We had our tankless water heater drained - annual maintenance. They show up when they say they will and do it right the first time. In the past we've had issues with AC's, plumbing and more. Evey time they've exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend them for any heating, AC or plumbing. We've used them for well over 20 years and wouldn't want anyone else. They are the best."

"I had 4 quotes prior to hiring Super Marco. Other plumbers either declined the job or had crazy high pricing, and they didn't have creative cost saving ideas. Super Marco approached the job in a step by step approach to save costs. They then proceeded with the most effective and cost saving approach. The cost was lowest. The job was done competently and quickly. I highly recommend this plumber."

"Way to pricey for the level of work preformed. He's Charged and independent plumber and charged me $275 to twitch out a cartridge plus tye cost of the part. Finding out the steps were; unscrew the handle, turn of the water using the shut off valves in the pipe, unscrew the cartridge, replace cartridge, turn on water, and screw handle back on. He charged me $275 for labor and the part was only $130. Definitely extortion pricing. When I asked why was labor so much he saif because he had to go to two place to find the part and he's working on a Saturday. He's like a taxi, kept the meter running while driving around to get the part and he seemed to be under the impression that I forced him to work on a Saturday. I will not use again and I do not recommend. He should price fair by the level of difficulty of a job and not just by what he feel he is owed."

"Marvelous plumbers were quick to respond to our issue with our clogged drain. Robert the plumber was pleasant and explained the process the entire step of the way. Each step he had me look to see what the underlying issue was in our drains. He snaked our drain but we needed to take it a step further with hydrojetting. We opted for this process which will give us long term results rather than short term which can lead to other issues. Extremely happy with this business, will definitely use them again."

FAQs for sump pump or interior foundation drains installation projects in Lake Elsinore, CA

Most residential pumps draw approximately 1,300 to 2,900 watts when they first start, then settle at roughly 800 to 1,050 watts during normal operation. The exact number depends on the motor’s horsepower and how often the float switch tells the pump to run. Even at the high end, the electricity cost is minor compared with the expense of cleaning up a flooded basement.

Grab a ruler and an empty 18‑inch‑wide pit. During a steady rain, time how much the water rises in one minute. Multiply that depth (in inches) by 60 to calculate gallons per hour, then add 50% for safety. If the result tops 2,100 gallons per hour—about 35 gallons a minute—you’ll need a 3/4‑horsepower unit. Anything lower, and a 1/3- or 1/2-horsepower pump should do the trick.

Loud rattling, constant cycling, or shuddering vibrations are the pump’s way of telling you it’s on its last legs. Musty smells, higher electric bills, and visible rust are other red flags. If the unit is 10 years old or older and exhibits any of these symptoms, replace it before the next heavy rain turns your basement into a wading pool.

You don’t have to hire a licensed plumber, but you should still bring in someone who installs sump pumps for a living—whether that’s a plumber, basement‑waterproofing specialist, or experienced handyman. They know the local codes, can wire the pump safely, and will test the system before they leave. Skipping professional help might void the warranty and could leave you with a pump that fails when you need it most.

Not every basement needs a pump, but if your home sits in a floodplain, has a high water table, or has ever taken on water during a storm, a sump pump is inexpensive insurance. For basements that only struggle with condensation or the occasional damp spot, sealing cracks and improving drainage may be all that is needed.
