"They are WONDERFUL. From start to finish, Zach and his guys were wonderful. We signed the contract in late fall of 2017. They came out this week and were finished in a day in a half. We have a large roof with high peaks, several valleys, and two places it's very steep. They had a huge crew, each doing something different. They worked well together and worked efficiently. I'm not kidding when I say, our yard is cleaner now than when they started and the roof looks WONDERFUL. I cannot tell you how happy Brad and I are. The entire crew was very conscientious and they absolutely pay attention to detail. I was impressed that the foreman showed up before 7:00 am and introduced himself. The second foreman showed up a few minutes later and did the same. All the guys were friendly and professional and they absolutely knew what they were doing. "David gave me what I thought was a fair price for the work to be done. He asked for 1/2 up front. As a previous small business owner I did not feel this was unreasonable so I paid him 500.00. He estimated the work would take 3 to four days and I thought the same. After several no shows the "mason" showed up. The first clue was he came in a car. According to my wife he was here 2 hours and left, came back for another 2 hours the next day and left again. He said nothing to my wife about leaving or when he would be back. David called a day later to ask about coming out to look over the job and get the rest of the other 500.00. I said he isn't finished and he's only been here 4 hours. So then I looked up the prevailing wage in IL for a mason and found out it is 28.50 an hour. The next day the guy comes back for another 3 hours. David came to look at the work and I walked him around and showed him all of the places that had not been done. So the guy comes back again for about an hour. All told it was 8 hours work, nothing to write home about but it was agreed up front that I wasn't looking for an exposed brick look. I need it tuck pointed well enough so that I could drylock and paint the exposed brick. I will say this was done in the end. The worker left a mess that I and my wife had to clean up, I pointed this out to David as well. I told him I felt he was overly paid for the amount of work preformed and that was the end of it. It's really to bad. It's difficult to get contractors to do small jobs and I had plenty for him to do. I'm not unhappy, just would not hire again"

"Having worked with Josh for the first time on a painting project in our new home, about a month ago... I decided to give him a shot at quoting and ultimately winning the bid for our fence. He had already proved his trustworthy ethics and willingness to keep customers satisfied. He was willing to start by digging the holes on a Saturday (never heard of a contractor working on the weekend), so that he could get out ahead of the impeding rain for the week. He made sure the holes were dig right with a two man auger and spared no expense on the concrete to set the posts (since we will be in the home for years to come).
Although the job did take a couple days longer than expected, this was in no way shape or form Josh's fault, as we had torrential downpours for two days and he had the decency to ask if it was ok not to work in the rain since not only was it dangerous, all of the trampling would ruin my grass.
He promised me that the job would be completed by Friday, and even pulled an extra person off of another job of his to make sure the man power was there to get the job done and done right.
The fence turned out absolutely great, and I couldn't be happier! The only problem is.. I cant seem to find enough work around the house to keep having him help! As stated in a review last month, Josh represents the new generation of contractors, one with honestly, loyalty, great prices and quality craftsmanship... a true asset."

"They subcontracted the work.  Initial wallpaper removal was by local high school kids and was very slow.  Then one college kid who was even slower.  They finally brought in their pro who did as much removal in one day as the others did in a week.  Needless to say, the entire project finished late and missed a critical date.
The painters were very good where they painted except didn't seem to understand what to paint - I would keep pointing out areas out and sometimes they would include the area and sometimes they wouldn't.  Eventually a foreman got them to mostly meet the contract but it wasted time and caused me stress.  I felt like I was the foreman or contractor when I just wanted to write the check and have it done well and on time.  Sadly it wasn't done on time so all my furniture and electronics arrived before the work was done and ended up covered in drywall dust.
I also paid to have the woodwork cleaned and the wall plates matched throughout the house.  Both those were only half done.  They claimed woodwork just means window trim whereas I meant it to include all the wood.  I also had to go to the hardware store and buy and install a bunch of wall plates (which was not a big deal except I had paid them to do that.)
They also asked me to pay extra to clean up afterwards - I don't know of any business who does any job and then doesn't clean up after themselves.
I believe they have a good reputation, but if you use them make sure the contract specificies no subcontracting and be sure you and they agree on what is and isn't included in the work.
