"First let me say that I recommend them without any reservation. Not only did they do excellent work but they also vacuumed and wiped the floor where they walked in (the project was done during winter with a lot of snow). I was impressed. They were hired to install free floating glass shelves and put together some garage storage units. The shelves were to hold some sculptures and needed to be placed exactly within the dimensions we had specified. They got everything right. "

"I had a drywall disaster one Saturday night. I thought the drywall on the affected wall would need to be replaced. As a matter of fact I was told that much by a very knowledgeable person. So I went to angie’s list with the intention to find a drywall installer. MKD was one of the providers i selected. I did that at about 8 pm on that Saturday night. I then turned on my TV to watch a movie not expecting anything till at least Monday morning. In about 3 minutes I got contacted by MKD and after discussing my options, I was happy to learn that all was not lost and that they could do a miracle saving me from installing new drywall - a 2k endeavor. And guess what, they could do it Sunday morning! Wow. Mario showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole proce . He worked for about 7 hours and did an AMAZING job. I also asked him to touch an area in the kitchen that had bothered me and my wife for months. He took care of that too. We were a very happy family that night indeed. Thank you, Mario!! I’m going to use MKD for all my painting and deywall needs!"

"I am sure that these guys are able to do drywall work well. Especially where making a mess does not matter such as in new home construction. My experience on my popcorn ceiling removal project was not good. The guys did not know how to scrape a popcorn ceiling so I sent them a video. They also did not know how to paint. They made a very large mess and I had to clean up after them. Experience matters. In Spanish, because they didn’t speak English well. "We had Salvador take down our ceiling and insulation in the kitchen and dining room and replace with new. He failed to properly quarantine off the rest of out home and as a result we are 3 days later still cleaning up. He said at the beginning clean up would be done but I guess minimal. He said he didn’t know we would want a deep clean, really? During the renovation I asked him several times that I would help him take down my over the hood microwave but he did it himself and now a have a microwave that doesn’t work and a gas range that has a broken grate and dents. Salvador asked what he could do to make it right and I thought about it o remote. The following morning I looked at my bank account and the check I gave him the following day had been cashed at a currency exchange with in an hour of our previous conversation. When I confronted him about helping the the damaged he said he was not going to. So the long story is don’t make that final payment until you check out all his work. Kevin"
