"Arrived on time and ready to work. Checked out the flue from inside the house, cleaned it with brush and vacuum, cleaned up dust on the hearth, and then went up on the roof to inspect the system from outside. Talked to me about the condition of the firebox lining, which has a small crack but does not yet need to be replaced. Quoted me a figure for the lining's eventual replacement. Then he asked if I was interested in having my clothes dryer vent cleaned, and I was. So he went back on the roof and cleaned the vent with brush and vacuum. Also, I mentioned that the fireplace sometimes allowed smoke back into the room, and he showed me how to open and close the fresh-air vent."

"After much frustration with a brand new clothes dryer, we determined that the dryer exhaust vent was plugged. The house is 40 years old and we have only lived here for 6 years. He had a whole process that he performed and he removed a shocking amount of lint - maybe (3) 5 gallon buckets? Maybe even more. We were shocked and dumbfounded. <br /> Let's just say that exhaust stack was pretty close to fully plugged. I don't know how we were able to ever dry clothes and more importantly - don't know how we avoided a fire. <br /> Jerome and DVC were so professional, competent and competitive on price. We will absolutely continue to use their services. <br /> A job well done. <br /> Folks - take a lesson - clean those dryer vents every couple of years without fail. <br />"

"The technician I spoke to was very nice and helpful. We scheduled an appt and they took no more than 15 minutes to clean the dryer air ducts which were completely blocked on the roof. He informed me that the ducts need to be cleaned at least once a year due to the fire hazard they impose. Was very pleased with the service I received, I will definitely be using them again in the future!"

"Diego was absolutely phenomenal. He checked my air ducts and determined that they did not need to have a deep cleaning. However, he did notice a small growth of mold in the furnace (luckily it hadn't spread), so he pumped a sanitizing agent throughout the vents to kill the mold and to sanitize the other vents throughout my house. He also cleaned my dryer vent (and even cut some of the vent hose as he stated that it was too long for proper flow). I'm very satisfied with the service and will reach out to Extreme Air Duct again if needed in the future!"

"I was pleased with the service. Vent and carpet cleaning can be a frustrating experience. (I had a miserable experience with Steam Express a while ago.) I've come to learn to be wary of any coupon/deal for this type of service, even if it is on Angie's List. The HVAC and dryer cleaning went well. I actually paid what the coupon stated but had a slightly different service performed. The dryer vent was cleaned out as expected. They informed me that my outflow vents did not need cleaning (most likely true). Instead, they cleaned my intakes. Again, the price came out the same. I can't help but be a little suspicious that cleaning two intakes cost worked out the same as cleaning 15+ outflows around the house. It's also a little annoying that coupons for "unlimited" vent cleaning do not include the intakes. Nonetheless, I received quality work for a good price. I'm very happy with the carpet cleaning. They ran and emailed an estimate when they came the first time for vent cleaning. Again, I understood that I would pay more than what the coupon stated. (I was cool with the $100 for deep cleaning.) I agreed to the estimate via email (very convenient) and they called to set up service. The cleaners were on time and courteous for both visits. The time spent was efficient and accepting credit cards for payment was nice. I would definitely recommend this company for vent/carpet cleaning services. Just remember that there will be some gamesmanship between you, them and the coupons. Have you ever gone for an oil change without the technicians mentoring other services? Neither have I. Same idea here."
