He quoted me an amount for installation and that was the amount I paid. He estimated that it would be 2 hours to install and it only took 1 1/2 hours. When Chris took the new hot water heater out of the box he noticed that it was dented, he suggested contacting the store we purchased it from to get a refund or a discount. "After the tankless hot water heater was installed it was throttling the temperature. I called the team and they came out to explain this particular module they installed was ‘demand based’. It required I set the shower to a very warm temperature to engage the water heater or else it would turn off. Seemed strange and untrue since the sinks which have significantly less demand don’t experience this issue no matter how low I turn the temperature. The specialist also suggested it could be my brand new shower head since new hardware can often be low flow. Mine was not but he insisted on removing the gasket for the shower head. Now it leaks and the water still gets cold unless set to very hot. Disappointed."
