Super Service Award Winner 2010-2021! Please call us for an appointment to see your project 913-207-5937. Mountain, a design and build, professional services construction group. Thank you!
"Terrible. Unfortunately, the terms of the contract weren’t fulfilled and we are left finishing a large portion of the remodel and addition. Although we hired Mountain Construction to build an addition and remodel our retirement home and ~93% of funds were provided to Mountain Construction, we were left with ~35%-40% of the overall construction not completed. I would not use nor recommend Mountain Construction for any project one might be considering."

Top Tier Kitchens & Baths, LLC, proudly serves its customers with pride, integrity, and by paying attention to the details that matter most to you. These are a few of the many things that sets us apart from the rest. We are locally owned and operated. Give us a call today!
"If you are thinking about choosing this joke of a company for any of your Kitchen or Bath renovations, DON’T. Top Tier claims that they make remodeling “easy for you”, that they are “committed to earning 100% customer satisfaction”, that they “give every customer the attention they need”, and that you can “count on us for Superior service at competitive prices”. These are all LIES. Top Tier also claims that they ensure “that the products we order for your home are a perfect fit”, and that when they send workers out that they “will arrive with everything they need to complete your project quickly and flawlessly.” More bold-faced LIES. Top Tier will have you sign a contract, take your money, and give you the worst experience of your life. We hired Top Tier in 2022 to start on a remodeling project for our Kitchen and bath. Top Tier Started the January 16th, 2023, and didn’t claim to be finished until May 2023. The only thing that went right with this project was when in the first week they knocked out a small wall, everything else was a crap show. The flooring and counter tops went great but only because these were done by completely different companies and NOT Top Tier, thank God, because just about everything went wrong. I will try and keep it short and stick to the major things. Top Tier did not make this an easy process at all. From the start we didn’t receive communication from our “project manager” Charity. When we did, she would get an attitude and treat us like we were a nuisance. She would constantly forget to send the workers out to the job site. Several times she would not ensure the workers were sent with everything they needed to do the job. This is even after we had multiple discussions and would send links of the items, SHE asked us to choose. She would constantly forget what we discusse. Multiple times me and my husband had to clock out of work to go and purchase items that were needed for the job that Charity was supposed to have done. We had to do this because according to her if we didn’t then it would be several more days before she’d send anyone else out. We had to wait months for our bathtub to arrive because when it was ordered it was never communicated to us that it was on backorder, so we weren’t even given the opportunity to pick something else that was in stock. Leaving the remodeling in limbo and our house a mess for weeks. Then the bathtub was lost for weeks because it was shipped to a bad address, to which when we’d follow up with Charity she’d either laugh about it like it was some hysterical joke or ask what we were talking about because she’d forgotten they lost our tub. So much for giving your customers the attention they need. We were also told several times that they would start on the bathroom by a certain date since the shower was in when it never was and so the bathroom did not start on time. When we ordered cabinets, we stressed multiple times that we wanted fully white cabinets. Instead, what we got were white and yellow cabinets. The kitchen cabinets along the wall did not fit and a whole section was completely missing. The island cabinets were hodge podge sizes. Thankfully the guys actually doing the work were watching out for us. They seemed to be the only ones who cared to do a good job. We ended up having to fork out extra money for things to be done properly and professionally because Top Tier forgot about it. They were going to leave everything unpatched, unpainted, and nothing caulked and call it “complete” unless we paid more. Even though we asked all that be done in our consultations. We still have some cabinets that are yellow and white, but since we are now paid in full Top Tier is not going to finish fixing those cabinets. So once again WE are having to do more work on this remodeling job we paid them to do. At one point I had called to speak to the owner Ben to ask what was being done to turn this crap show around. However, Charity refused to let me speak to him and was absolutely unprofessional and condescending. Ben eventually spoke to us and said he’d take care of it. The most minimal attempts were made to remedy all the negligence. Instead of any type of refund we were offered some silly cruise that was only discounted and not fully paid. Why the h*** would we ever want to pay more money on a cruise after cashing out more than what the kitchen and bath was after being so badly handled!? What a joke. Not sure if that was in hopes we’d be bribed to leave a good review or their way of hoping we’d keep quiet. All of our friends and family saw and know what we dealt with. None of them will ever be using this company. However, if you are looking for incompetent service where you have to pay more than what it’s worth for a job to be done properly, “quickly and flawlessly”, a place where the “attention” the customer gets from the company is severely lacking and what attention you do get you are treated like a annoyance, a place where you end up having to take off work without pay to work on the remodeling that the company is supposed to do, and it all be a hellish nightmare instead of made “easy for you”…then Top Tier Kitchen, Baths and Nightmares is just the place for you."

Welcome to Dugan's Paint and Flooring Centers. We proudly operate 4 beautiful stores in Sedalia, Warrensburg, Osage Beach and Laurie, Missouri. With a 140 year history of helping individuals, families and companies decorating their homes and businesses, Dugan's is your source for paint, tile, window coverings and flooring, including carpet, hardwood, ceramic, stone, vinyl and laminate. Dugan’s Paint and Flooring Center offers a full range of products from Benjamin Moore, Pittsburgh Paints, Shaw, Armstrong, Coronado, Bruce and many others. You’ll find our sales professionals eager to assist you with the design process and help you determine the best products to fit your style and budget. Our goal is to make your home decorating or remodeling experience exciting and stress-free. Come see us today or call for more information. Background: The Dugan Paint company was started in 1871 by Ernest Dugan and is currently in the fifth family generation of management. The company was first started as a paint and glass store as many similar businesses of its type were back then. In January of 1980 the glass and paint store split off into two separate companies and the paint company started its growth. In 1983 the second store was opened in Laurie, Missouri to service the Lake of the Ozarks area. At that time the area was experiencing tremendous growth and we soon saw that we could not provide the complete service to both sides of the lake from one location. In 1992 the third store was opened in Osage Beach, Missouri to serve what we called the east side of the Lake of the Ozarks. As business continued to grow in the Sedalia area, a need for a larger main facility was evident. In January of 1997 we completed our relocation from our 4,000 square foot location on west 16th street to our new 10,000 square foot location at 3103 Erika avenue. Also, that same month, January 1997, we took over the operations of the Zeke's Paint and Design center in Warrensburg, Missouri giving us our fourth store location. With the addition of the Warrensburg location we are able to circle our main store and warehouse with satellite locations making shipments efficient and timely. In January of 2000, our new facility in Warrensburg was completed and we moved from the downtown district to 709 East Hale Lake Road. In December of 2000, a 2000 square foot addition was completed at the Sedalia warehouse. As the Lake of the Ozarks area continued to grow, a need for additional warehouse and showroom space was needed so a new store location was created in Laurie at 120 Dogwood Lane and it was moved in February of 2003. Three new warehouses have been built or purchased since 2004 giving Dugan's Paint and Flooring Centers the ability to service our customers better than any other paint and flooring store in central Missouri.

How far you can push a room depends on the structure you choose. A cantilevered bump-out can extend 24 inches before building codes require its own footing or foundation. Anything longer needs engineered support and a permit. Check local codes or consult with a structural professional before finalizing plans to ensure your design remains safe and compliant.
Most bump-outs are completed within one to four weeks, even with minimal electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work. Their compact size means less demolition, simpler inspections, and fewer weather-related delays compared to a full-scale addition. Your contractor can provide a more precise timeline once they have determined the scope, materials, and permit schedule, but plan on having the extra square footage ready in approximately a month.
