I'm a little picky about wanting to know details, and he was the only one who went into detail about how things would be put together. My last deck was basically slapped together in an afternoon with a crew of 6 guys. If you are looking for that type of deck, RPM is not your guy. Rick cares about the quality of his work. Edges are sanded, Railings and posts are caulked. The stairs are so solid! He hand picks the wood to ensure it's straight and of good quality. He added supports that were missing from the last build. The only delays we experienced were due to the unusual amount of rain we received this summer. He kept in contact with me throughout and didn't leave me wondering. Rick also presented a written bid with details - he is very professional.  I can't say enough about his work. "Dan came by and we talked about what we needed done.  He met me at Lowe's to see what style I was looking for, and ordered items needed.  The first day, they tore out all the doors and door frames, and removed the carpet.  They had to go under the house and add more support and raise the floor.  While under the house, cats that had gotten under there this winter and they removed the cats, and repaired the duct work that the cats had tore down! Sealing up the opening where the cats were coming in.  This was "OVER AND BEYOND" what I had asked them to do.  While I was painting the bedroom I noticed the floor was weak.  Again they removed the corner flooring and it was repaired.  (this was extra too!)  They put crown molding, throughout the 3 bedrooms, hallway, and dinning room.  All new door trim and base board.  Dan matched the window stain from 7 years ago,and stained and finished each piece.  Needless to say, my trim looks like an awsome piece of furniture.  They laid my laminate flooring, and trimmed out my kitchen counters and island. He fixed my light switch in the hallway to my suprise! and yes I noticed the little things that he did, Thanks Dan!    <br /> When he was done, the house was left clean and all the construction mess was gone.  <br /> <br /> <br />"
