We obtained numerous quotes for both projects, and JP was always the most transparent, honest, and cheapest. We could not be happier with everything his team did for us--a retaining wall, patio, and fence. He totally transformed our back yard. He was patient as we worked through what exactly we wanted and our budget. Once we made a decision and he had the materials, his team showed up right away and worked hard. "I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided). "I contacted Mr. Garrett the morning of May 1, 2014 to get a quote on some landscaping. and left a voice mail..he called me back within ten minutes.  He said he would come by the next day and give me an estimate.  When he came by he told me what he would do and gave me and estimate.   Previously, someone else had given me an estimate but after my down payment, I was told they couldn't do it for a month.  That is when I contacted Mr. Garrett, I needed the job done asap.  My first question to Mr. Garrett was when he could get to it because I didn't want to wait a month.  He stated he could come by late that afternoon, since the job wasn't too big, to complete the job.  A few hours later, he came back with an employee and together they mulched, dug and planted my yard, along with trimming my Japanese Maple Bush.  He did an awesome job.  I would recommend him for any thing.  I even happened to mention needing the deck around my pool and I am going to get a quote for that too soon.

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"Hired to do a general yard cleanup, removal of a couple trees and stumps, and taking away a ton of yard waste the previous owners left under our deck. The estimate given was very competitive, and communication was good throughout the entire process. He even offered to clean my gutters for no extra cost to seal the deal. They worked diligently, and I was very pleased with the work. Once the stumps were removed I asked about mulching, and they were able to come back the very next day to perform the job. Easy to work with and pleasant demeanor. Will hire again in the future for yard work and other general projects included in their portfolio."
