The last time I called was September 2017, following a hurricane; understandably I was told I had to wait 5 months for the repair (even though I was a prior customer). They eventually provided the repair in February 2018. At that time, they repaired several panels on the ceiling of my lanai, and recently (May 2018), one of repaired panels came loose. I contacted this company again to repair the loose panel. After they reviewed the area, they stated the loose panel was not a panel that they had previously repaired. I try to be a loyal customer, but I did not get a sense that Delray Screen is loyal to their customers. So after receiving their quote, I contacted a competitor that I had never used before and received a proposal quoting 1/3 the cost proposed by Delray Screen. I ended up using the other company, which delivered a good repair and saved me money. Having worked with Delray Screen a couple of times, they were slow to respond, although they eventually returned my call or email. Sometimes, they were away attending personal events. Delray Screen is run more as a family hobby, than it is a commercial enterprise. Their most recent price quote woke me up to the fact that they are also not market competitive, so I will not use them again."
