"Don and his partner did a wonderful job installing my wall mounts and large screen smart TVs for me. They were on time with their arrival and we're very punctual and efficient with their time to complete my installation needs. They even installed a new ceiling fan I purchased recently, which they did a great job on as well. Totally recommend them for any home entertainment installations needed as well as their security solution that we will be looking to do in 2024."

"This review is directed entirely toward the customer service experience I received from Brittany, who answers the phone at Florida State Fence Corp. I initially contacted the company because I needed a section of my fence removed to allow access for a well repair. I was provided a quote for both the removal and the replacement of the fence, paid the invoice in full, and the removal was completed without issue. The problems began when I attempted to schedule the fence replacement. I contacted my representative, Christian, who provided a date and time for the work. That appointment came and went with no arrival and no communication. I called the office and was advised to reach out to Christian directly, which I did. At that time, I also requested a quote for a privacy fence. Christian apologized for the missed appointment and scheduled a second date for both the replacement and the quote. Unfortunately, that appointment was also missed without any notice. I left Christian a voicemail "

"Very disappointed in Big Dog Fence. I was referred to them by a family member and gave them a call even though they are 45 minutes to an hour away from my house. I decided to hire them without getting estimates from any companies closer to me. I'm assuming the distance between us caused the lack of care. I wasn't living in the house at the time so I can't speak on the punctuality of the installers but I'm certain I got the bottom of the barrel for several reasons. When they set the poles, they poured dry concrete mix in the holes and said the rain would eventually harden it. The actual chain link was installed the next day, having no water whatsoever added to the dry mix. It was installed and tightened on loose poles. I was asked if I wanted it even with the ground or level across the top. I didn't know having it level across the top would leave me with holes nearly a foot at the bottom throughout. I purchased this fence for my dogs and obviously that wouldn't work so I filled them with rock and dirt. The installers ran out of top rails so they had to pull one or two off my existing fence leaving it loose. Upon completion, Alan called a took off $10 or $20 instead of having the installer come back and finish the job. The biggest problem, however, was and still is the gate. I didn't move in for another couple months but almost immediately started having issues. The installer even told me at completion he had never done a gate like mine before and had several parts he wasn't sure about. There are several open tubes on the gate that catch the chain link and pull it apart. After maybe a year or less of dealing with it and trying to patch it myself, I called Big Dog out for repairs. A different installer came and said it was on completely wrong. He replaced part of the chain link but apparently didn't fix the original issue. Now, a little over two years of use, the gate has multiple holes in it from catching on the frame. We have to swing it out to try and avoid doing any more damage. I called Big Dog once again when my husky fit through the holes and got out. I sent over pictures of the damage and at that point I was informed that that is basically the nature of rolling gates unless you are real careful not to go out of square when opening or closing. I was never told we would have problems or offered any other option for it. So basically, I was knowingly sold a product that Big Dog knew we would have problems with. Now two years after the fact I am past the warranty period and am expected to pay $250 if I want my gate repaired, although I'm sure it will just happen again since it's a defective product. Me being a contractor myself, if I run out of material I have to make another trip to finish the job, whether the customer is 5 minutes or two hours away from me. I would never give them money off because I didn't want to make the drive to finish my job. My store also would not sell a product that we knew would give us problems because we stand behind our products. If we have a job go bad, we replace it and then throw the product out of our store if they don't warranty it. Our reputation is too important to sell poor quality materials. We also warranty our work for life because we don't knowingly sell products that we expect to fail after a year of use. Ultimately, I don't expect Big Dog to fix my issues because it will just be another temporary solution. I will probably end up replacing the gate myself with something that won't fail so quickly."

"I purchased a home with a fence installed from this company in 2018. I contacted them because the fence is sitting on sprinkler heads. Per their contract, which I have a copy of, states they guarantee their workmanship. Clearly, as sighted in the images, the fence is on top of those sprinklers. In the contract, it states they are not responsible for the irrigation, however, I am not seeking them to fix anything but replace that side of the fence. The company refused. Saying that once transferred it is voided. However, it does NOT state this in the contract. The couple I purchased the home from were older and were unaware of this issue. It’s unfortunate that this company would not take responsibility for properly placing the fence. Marcus, who oversaw the fencing project, stated the third party contractors did place it incorrectly — following the sprinkler heads. This is unprofessional, as they were provided the survey. My new survey shows the fence line being off. Which, if you know, your neighbor maintains that property for 10 years, you can lose it. I don’t believe I should pay a company to fix their mistakes. If I’m going to pay anyone, it’ll be another company to fix it. To me, it seems like a easy way to get extra money out of people. They would have never known that the fence was improperly placed if we hadn’t gotten a survey during the sell. Just beware. You trust professionals to do the job right, but these “professionals” didn’t ensure that and are now costing the owners more money. BTW the owners were more than happy to communicate with the owner and he still refused. Find someone else."
