"We used Best Rate 5 years ago to replace 50 feet of fence top cap on an old sagging fence that was lacking proper base supports. During the top cap removal they used wood shoring to keep the fence straight and fused 16 footers of kiln-dried redwood using 45 degree angle cuts and long 16" screws to create one very long top cap to straighten our sagging and crooked fence to look brand new. We had selected them because they paint all 6 sides of the replacement wood prior to installation, and we have a terrible time fighting wood rot at our place. Their repair has stood the test of time and still looks great at the 5 year mark, so when it came time to replace some termite infested top cap on the other side of our property, they were at the top of our list to do the job. This time, as a repeat customer, we had saved up 4 full days worth of repairs involving a lot of details, so we were a bit apprehensive as to whether it could all be accomplished, and also worried whether the experience would be different from 5 years ago. What followed was one of the most pleasant experiences we've had to date with any company. The people behind this company understand what the customer wants and they deliver on every point in flawless execution. The process moves smoothly and effortlessly from scheduling the first appointment to the final completion. You can always reach them and they always respond. Service just doesn't get any better than this. "I do not write many reviews because we use so many providers. However, Bill from C&J Fence really stands out. I did not use this company initially and had lots of other companies look at my gates. But However, most of the companies just wanted to replace all of my gates instead of repairing/altering them. Bill is very reasonably priced and does high quality work. The only drawback is that he is so popular that he is backed up for months. We need new fencing and some fence moved. I will not make the same mistake twice. I am going to wait a couple of months for Bill and his son to do it. Highly recommend!"

"The first day they cleared the area and stowed materials that were drop shipped to the street. The second day, the old fence was removed and the posts were set. The third and fourth days the new fencing and gates were installed. The work area was always maintained neatly. <br />"
