"Robert took on a very difficult project. Our home is a Chicago landmark, and thus we needed to handle our old clay tiles with care; individually removing them and cleaning them so that the roof could be replaced. The roofers then reinstalled the entire clay system after removing an old obsolete chimney and tuckpointing another one. They also sanded down or repaired many aging soffits and fascia, replaced that which had been destroyed or rotted. We had a number of changes along the way, so we had to negotiate as we went and Robert was reasonable in those discussions. As a final note, we quoted out five contractors. Two said our project was too difficult. Two others didn't return my requests for the proposed work; and I wasn't surprised given how pessimistic they were about their ability to accomplish our project. "I definitely recommend APR for flat roofing needs. They did a complete rip and replace of a 500+ sq ft flat roof at my home in La Grange. They were not the low bidder. However, the value was evident. Not only did they install a new torch down roof, but they repaired a significant amount of water-damaged soffit and installed new gutters instead of just re-installing the old gutters, as many suggested. They pointed out several areas of concern that led to the failure of my old roof. And to my surprise, they were able to mobilize a large crew and complete the entire job in one day, including clean up. I talked to many roofing contractors before choosing APR, and I couldn't be happier with my choice."

"Lakeview Roofing did a great job, I highly recommend. My 4 flat building got 5-6 different quotes to repair our spotty leaky roof, the quotes ranged from complete tear outs with a new roof ($26-36k) to ... cut/patch work in soft spots w/ new pipe flashing and limestones resealed ($2.5k). Lakeview Roofing (Mario) provided a re-roof option where 3-4 weak spots were cut/repaired, removed the limestone caps and then installed a new rubber membrane over the entire roof wrapping under limestones on parapet wall (installed 2nd extra leak proof membrane under masonry/limestones), painted with an aluminum coating (priced in the middle of all quotes). He added 3 roof vents, replaced all flashings, and used liquid silicone, sealant, caulk where appropriate. Mario even added additional language to the quote to appease our Condo Board with regards to the Included 10yr warranty, weâ re installing a roof deck next spring so a warranty is critical. It sounded like Mario under quoted our roof because the limestones took more work than expected. However, the job was still done very thoroughly even though it took about an extra 1.5-2 days. I checked on the project about 3 times a day and I was glad to see high quality material was used, much better material/craftsmanship than our old roof."

"Arronâ s Roofing replaced the roof on our 4 unit condo building. His quote was very competitive and we got much better granulated material instead of black top for about the same price. The biggest concern at the start of the project was handling of large roof top deck. Other companies told us that the deck may not be salvaged or to expect a lot of damage. Aaronâ s Roofing said they can save most of the deck and they did. They removed the deck in sections and then reassembled at the end, few boards that needed to be replaced were reasonably priced. The roof work was completed professionally and we are very happy with the result. We also liked that Aaron did not rush the project and did not work on the days when weather got cold and rainy in October, to make sure the quality was not compromised. The guys cleaned up on a daily basis and were polite and considerate. Aaron also responded very promptly to provide the initial estimate. We definitely recommend Aaronâ s roofing for roof and deck projects."
