"I can’t express how satisfied I am with ADS Electric. As a first time home owner I’m grateful to have been ‘all ears’ to all of their intuitive suggestions. Not only is my 75 year old home completely up to code but the lifestyle improvements are going to make this an easy sell someday. My home was completely gutted electrically and rewired in three days. Not only was the team ‘ricky tick’ with the whole thing but communication was transparent and open. No surprises from start to finish. Complete peace of mind. As if speed, quality and being completely stress free weren’t enough they were also flexible on a payment plan. Worth every penny."

"This is the second time I hired SeaTown Electric to replace lighting fixtures in my home. They came right out assessed my need and came a week later prepared to install the fixture I needed in my bathroom. Colby did a neat and careful installation and when he was inspecting my electrical panel, I let it be known that I was also in the market for a new furnace for my manufactured home. SeaTown then send Cody out to assess my rusting old furnace, and asked if I wanted him to look for one that would fit the small space where my old furnace was sitting, I told him yes, and he called that day with an estimate for the new furnace and its installation. Great guys at SeaTown and Kaitlyn, too who helped me figure out the electrical jargon. Don't understand? Call and talk to Kaitlyn. She'll clear things up for you."

"Skipper & Sons installed a entryway chandelier in high ceiling 18' tall. They installed a new light and switch in an unfinished closet, and 3 new canned lights and new switch in my master bedroom. They also fixed the wiring in an existing switch in the downstairs hallway. They did professional electrical work."

"Charlie and son Seth Clark were hired for a big residential project - demo-ing and replacing and rewiring a dangerous old electrical system in our recently purchased older home on the Key Peninsula. Everything from the antiquated panel to all outlets and switches and fixtures had to be removed and replaced and completely wired to make it safe and up to code. Their estimate was competitive - lower than other bids received. They were able to start quickly and completed the job in a timely and thorough manner. Communication was good throughout. They got the state inspector and Pen Light out quickly for inspection and approval. We confidently recommend Charlie Clark for any size electrical work to any homeowner!"

"I actually had this company do several projects for me. New electrical to a garage with lights and outlet install. Rewire of a barn. Upgrade outlets and switches to my home and retrofitting led lights into a commercial building. Through it all Troy was a good communicator. The team that worked on the projects were polite and easy to discuss the projects with."

"I highly recommend and encourage you to contract with this company for any of your electrical needs! I am having a new kitchen installed into a space that has no previous hookups, circuits, or sufficient lighting. They got everything done in just a matter of a few hours, but, most importantly, did not sacrifice quality work for being fast. They are friendly, accommodating, professional, high quality, determined to make you happy, and honest in their pricing. They will be the only company I use for any future electric needs!"

"After an immediate response to my HA request, I was scheduled for an estimate. The owner came out to assess to scope of work and build the estimate, which I had the next day. Jeff was also very negotiable regarding changes on the original estimate. We hired them for the lengthy project. John and his team were here right on time and left on time everyday and they cleaned up after each days work. Our project involved a 350' foot trench, installation of a street light, powering our driveway gate and adding power to both fountains (the kept the damaged to the yard minimal), AND adding 2 additional lights our our garage....thats just the outside work. Inside they added new or changed existing lights, including adding 2 pendant lights to our stairwell and 6 can lights to our front room. Everything went much smoother than I thought it would. These guys know their stuff. We were stressed for a long time about how we would run power under the concrete driveway and sidewalk and these guys did it in under an hour! They were always polite and friendly, practiced covid19 guidelines and kept us aware of everything they were doing. They were easy to communicate with and managed change orders in a breeze. I trust them with any electrical work I need. I recommend hiring these guys because their pricing is very fair and the staff is superior to other contractors I've worked with. John has returned to our home twice since work was finished, to repair issues that occurred after they left, that didn't have to do with areas they had done work in. Thats what I call EXTREME customer service at the highest level....100%! You won't regret your decision. I would have given 10 stars if I could!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Lakewood, WA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
