"I have used them for fall and spring clean up. they do a nice job. We decided to mow our own grass this year and discontinued that service HOWEVER I gave them dates to mow when we were out of town and they said they would mow -- I sent them a reminder by email, text and voice mail before we left. After meeting with him and explaining what we needed done, we scheduled with Jose to have the work done a week later. Jose and his family showed up on time, when expected, and worked very diligently in getting the job done. My wife and I were very pleased with their work. "When they started the project, the concrete which was already cracked, seemed to be coming up pretty well.  When that was removed, they found a lot more gravel under the concrete than they anticipated so it was an additional time and expense to remove that.  The garage sill had to be repoured and they began installing the correct type of gravel and pounding down the base.  Being  April, it rained a lot in there and it slowed the progress as you can imagine.  Can't do much about the weather.  I also had some blocks on my garage foundation that were loose so they refilled the mortar to stabilize the foundation. This is when we found that the gutter drain pipes were broken and clogged.  They installed new piping and we cleaned out the remaining pipes before installing the pavers.  By having the "O" in the middle, it made for a lot more cuts and took some additional time but it was worth it.  They sealed the driveway and finally they installed the sod around the edges.  Along the way Jake had to deal with a major personal issue but handled it very well.  Jake and his crew did a very good job and handled all the little things that came up very professionally.  I don't know of any other contractor who would have worked with me the way they did.  In my opinion, they provided me with a great finished product and I would use them in the future.

"Meet with Alan and told him that I wanted to start over with my landscaping.  The only ideas I had were to removed 3 trees that had grown too close to the house and rebuild the retaining wall in front of the house.  Everything else was up to Alan.  He took measurements of my property and told me he would be back in touch with me in a week with a design.  He completed the design in a week and we met to discuss his plan.  The plan had a drawing of my lot, where plants would be placed, a description (with color photo) of each plant, and an itemized cost list..  I told him what I liked and didn't and he went back to revise the plan.  I agreed to the revisions and he scheduled me for late April early May.  About a week before work was to start, I told Alan that I was unsure about the retaining wall design.  He revised the plan again and suggested that I visit a stone supplier to view my options.  After the visit, I decided to go back to the original design.   
Unlike other landscape companies that have 8-10 people on your property, tripping over themselves, Rochell had an on-site manager and never more than 3 people on the job.  It took a couple of days to removed all the old stuff.  The retaining wall took about 3 days to complete, and about a week to re-cut the beds, trim the current shrubs, plant new stuff, and lay new mulch.  By not having an army of people of people on-site, I think there was a greater attention to detail which led to a "crisper" look when the job was finished.  Several neighbors have stopped by to commented on how good the new landscaping looks.
