(I am blaming myself for not doing more research or asking more questions) Patch at the bottom and dug out the river rock on the side and filled with asphalt to widen about a foot or so. He came out and he won't give me a price and I'm broke so I need to know. He kept saying, how much would you expect for $200. Well, I want to pay $75 to get my yard fixed. I did have other work but I was wanting an estimate. He just kept twisting all that cost around. So I finally wrote him out a check for $75. He did do extra, not the five main things, but the extra work and he did do a good job. He kept standing around like I owed him more money but I didn't have it and I did not agree to that other work. He kept me hanging in the air over money and I never did get a firm price for services. He did do a good job on my shrubbery and I probably do need to send him some more money, but I really do not know how to rate him. Overall I would rate him B. For what I paid for he did really well, but I did not like him dangling the price. I kept asking him for a price, what is it going to cost, a $100, $50. I could not get a price from him. "

"Due to weather the job was started slightly after the original date and we had interruptions that were weather related. The weather is always a factor on an outside job and flexibility needs to be understood. Steve and anyone we have ever dealt with through his company have been extremely polite and accommodating. We have actually hired Nexgen for more jobs since the original and would do so again. The quality is outstanding and Steve's knowledge and willingness to work with us and help us with our vision was something no one else could do. This is not a cookie-cutter operation. Steve listened and offered options which included ideas we were not even aware of. Great contractor to do business with.
