"The fence and gate look great and I feel much more secure. The old fence was poorly done (some post-Katrina work so I had to take what I could find) and did not secure my back yard and pool. Tony explained why the original fence was inadequate and why we needed to upgrade (to better wood and more cross pieces). It took a few weeks for him to get to my project but he kept me posted on what the time frame was likely to be. Once they committed, they were reliable and punctual and the job was completed in a couple of days. One note: you do have to pay extra to have the old fence hauled away which was not included in the original estimate. I decided I wanted a few upgrades from the original plan (including a combination lock for the gate so that I didn't have to give keys to anyone who needed to get into the backyard). I would also have had to pay extra to have them spray the fence with wood sealer but I decided that was a job that didn't take too much expertise so I'll have my son do it for me."

"Our contact at Forsythe, Bryan, worked closely with us on the fence layout. He provided us with various estimates prior to the fence installation and met with us on the property to discuss options for the layout. He was patient as we revised our layout plans one last time a week before the installation date and returned our phone calls in a timely manner whenever we had questions and/or left voicemails. Forsythe required a 50% deposit on the quoted contract total, with the remainder due upon installation completion.  <br>The installation itself was done by an experienced fence-builder, Troy. He was friendly and communicated well with us, asking us to review the fence line, cedar slat placement, and cedar slat ground clearance. He worked by himself over the course of two days, first installing the fence poles in concrete and letting them cure a couple of days before he returned to install the actual cedar fence itself.  <br>Upon completion, Troy showed us our new fence and the gate and gate hardware operation. Bryan called two days later to follow up on installation and emailed the final invoice that same day with amount due after deposit.  <br>We'd highly recommend Forsythe Fence to anyone looking for residential fence installation. "From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with David Brooks and his crew. During the estimate phase, even before he secured our business, Mr. Brooks made several trips to the house in order to provide an accurate assessment. He was very easy to talk to and helped us hone in on the scope of the project and helped guide our decision as to where best to direct our attention.
