"I have a 3 horse, bumper pull trailer that was over 20 years old. The tongue metal was compromised, the spare tire mount had fallen off due to rust and compromised metal, and a metal panel on the interior gate had fallen off. I asked them to fix those problems and then inspect the trailer for any other problems. They fixed the issues, and created solutions that were cost effective and much more robust than the original design. NorthWoods Handyman has been an excellent partner for a number of repairs we're making to our farm house. Ron, the owner, came out to our house at our scheduled time to do an initial estimate of the repairs. He explained how he worked, who he'd bring out with him and what we could expect. My respect for him rose right away when he told us straight out that there was one type of repair he didn't do (carpet patching). I'd rather have someone tell me that up front than try to do it and make a mess of it!
Ron and his team did everything they said they were going to do and more. Along the way, they made good recommendations to make things even better (adding baseboards to the flooring, for example). They were patient when I changed my mind on the shower surround I wanted, and returned the old one to Home Depot without complaint. They even helped us move furniture around to make room for the flooring installation. Ron picked up all the materials we needed, credited back any extra items, and provided receipts for everything without my having to ask for them.
The repairs they have made look great. And the new flooring they installed in the basement is fantastic! Everyone who has seen it has commented about how great it looks. They've also been very respectful of our house and our time, letting us know when they are arriving or leaving, cleaning up after themselves, and just generally taking care of things. There was no mess left behind when they were done.
We will definitely be using NorthWoods Handyman again. In fact, we have already asked him to estimate four more projects for us, and are looking forwards to getting those completed.

UPDATE: We contracted NorthWoods Handyman again to complete some more minor projects, including one really icky one (pulling down old insulation out of a farm shed). They arrived on time and got everything done in two days! The work was excellent, and we're very pleased. I've upgraded their punctuality score to an A.

"I called Mike and he returned my call 10 minutes later. I got lucky that he was already nearby driving between jobs ! He arrived 20 minutes later. My fence was fixed within 15 minutes ! Great service and attitude. I will definitely call again for future repairs and replacement. It turns out the fence was also installed improperly and he fixed that too, at no extra charge.

Now, I just have to stop my dogs from kicking the fence :)

"I can’t speak highly enough of Jason and his team. I contacted tail end fencing to take down and rebuild a fence at my medical building. They were exceptional at working around the operating hours of the medical building as not to disturb the clients, he always picked up my calls or was quick to retune them, and the fence they built looks spectacular. I sent his information to all my property managers and contacts (not something I do unless I am very pleased and have a high level of trust). Overall, they made a difficult job look very easy and were very accommodating. Highly recommend his services."
