Ballard sent someone out who looked at the possibilities and made some suggestions which gave us some options we had not considered. We had thought it would be difficult to rip up the concrete sidewalk that was uneven and draining into the house, but they had a way to cut it in pieces and popped them right out! They put a facade and flagstone veneer on our concrete landing and completely changed the first impression of anyone looking at the house. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. "After interviewing several firms, we settled on EB as they were professional and personable.  Their price was competitive -  so the decision came down "gut feeling."  We made the right choice.  They stripped the existing grass from our front yard; leveled and graded and laid new sod.  They were punctual and stayed until the job was completed in one day.  In fact, they actually returned to place sod in an area I had forgotten about, but we had discussed.  They did this without charge and with very little fan fare.  They were a pleasure.

"My B rating was due to a miscommunication regarding the day the work would take place. I mailed my down payment in and next thing the supplies were delivered so i had to call to confirm the day of installation. Only other thing is I would suggest they sweep area with a magnet. Although they did a good clean up job I did have to pick up a lot of nails and a bush was damaged but should be okay. I did expect some minor damage to flower beds since i have several against the house."
