"I am completely satisfied with the services provided. I had the ceilings, walls, and trim painted in most of my house (about 1600 square feet), and had drywall installed over paneling in one room. Daniel advised me of better alternatives to what I was planning, and I’m glad I took his advice (i.e., he advised to drywall over the paneling rather than filling the grooves and painting over it; and to paint trim with oil based paint for better adhesion because it was originally painted with oil based paint--which I did not notice until he pointed it out to me). He worked with a crew of two other men; they were fast (it took 4 days), neat (no drips, splashes, or marks with the paint; and cleaned up after themselves), and did a high quality job (good prep work and paint coverage). Daniel was responsive and good to work with. And, last but not least, the price was very fair. If you are considering what to do with an old paneled room, I recommend you consider installing drywall over the paneling. Daniel installed a 1/4” thick drywall over the paneling, which butts up to the door and window trim and crown molding. They used caulk to seal between the drywall and trim, which was painted to match the trim. I was concerned it would look strange, but it’s fine; I don’t think you would notice the “thin” trim unless you knew about it. We removed the baseboard, so drywall was installed to the floor and are installing new baseboard."

"Excellent company! Before the project started, I received 2 quotes. Both quotes were equal. I was impressed with both companies, but I selected Jose based on my gut feeling. I couldn't be happier! The job lasted 1.5 days. The crew of 4 showed up on time both days. Promptness to me is very important, as well as safety. All face plates were removed, furniture was covered and protected. I have 15 ft. ceilings, so while 1 guy was cutting in around the crown molding, another guy was holding the ladder. Safety first! I was very impressed with the focus they placed on safety. "We purchased the $125/room deal. Marco was willing to do our 2 rooms. He was very careful to wipe up any drips and did the work very quickly. When he came to do the estimate and verify the space, we asked if he could do the tall foyer and he gave a very good price. Only one small problem when he accidentally started painting a wall that was to be a different color and to be done later, and he made it right. We just installed window trim and it had 2 coats of paint on it already. A small drip happened, Marco wiped it immediately (he really hates it when those things happen) and some of our paint was removed. Neither of us has any idea. He quoted a very fair price for trim. The only thing I would do is ask Marco for a written list of specific things. It got a little crazy and the whole house was in upheaved packing boxes so he could access walls. Had we a written agreement, Marco would not have lost track of what trim, what ceilings etc. He did not price gouge at any time, just that things got a bit rushed. He fixed on day 2 what didn't get covered on day 1. The paint colors were hard to see and the lighting in the house impossible to help him. If we saw something was missing or not covered completely, he just said thanks or let us know he hadn't gotten there yet."

The pressure washing was complete and thorough.  It was neither rushed nor haphazard.  Inclement weather required that Mike stand down for several days, but at the first opportunity he and his crew of five experienced painters arrived on the job.  This rather surprised me because on five different house painting occasions (here and elsewhere) one painter and his assistant took several days, even weeks to do the job. This large crew began and completed the job in one day. One day!

Anyway, this crew of five immediately fell to, with some painting door trim, some painting window trim, some painting the tall wooden chimney and the others on the house proper.  I can think of several words to describe these craftsmen.  They all were personable, neat, workman-like, courteous, and appeared to be having fun.  In a word they were gentlemen.

A note about our house.  It is a pseudo log cabin common in this area of the North Carolina mountains.  The logs consist of rectangular 6"x12" pine painted grey and separated by a 3" white "plastic" chinking material.  This repetitive separation of colors made their job difficult and slow.  Use of painter's tape was inappropriate so every color separation had to be accomplished by hand... and this was done magnificently. Their thoroughness can be illustrated by their treatment of the chinking.  Since its original application in the late 90's it had never been painted.  So imagine our surprise when Mike and the crew painted the chinking with a brilliant white concrete stain. Made it look like new, added hours to their job and beauty to our home.

I called Mike for an estimate and he responded promptly. Since I am wheelchair-bound my son went over what we needed. Not only did this estimate include the work, but all paint and all other materials. After reviewing the job an estimate was provided the same day.  It was several hundreds of dollars cheaper than the next lowest estimate. Incidentally, door weather stripping was repairable and paintable, however Mike chose to replace it with new.  This was not included in his original estimate, but he refused to accept additional compensation. He stuck to his initial estimate--to the penny.

After accepting  the estimate we were placed on Mikes work schedule. He called before arriving for pressure washing and painting As stated rainy weather delayed painting, but this was a necessary delay.  There is no complaint about responsiveness or punctuality.  Mike responded promptly and came when he said he would. Can't ask for better than that.

As to quality of work, it is superb.  I am unable to view the entire house, but three highly critical individuals have gone over  every square foot.  These are my wife, my son and his wife.  All were extremely pleased.  And believe me, if my wife and daughter-in-law aren't happy, no one is happy. They found no fault with anything.  No trampled flowers.  No missed spots.  No sloppy work.. And very important,  a complete and proper clean up. My wife says that the crew seemed to do their best to please and that the house looks better than it did when new.

In short, these guys were complete professionals.  Mike  showed his trustworthiness and I would feel no qualms about referring him to anyone. We have nothing but compliments for Mike's Painting and Pressure Washing.
