Geno advised the windows were fine, which we were glad to hear. He said he could remove the trim, and then install new aluminum casing around the windows. He also said he could install an aluminum sill sloped away from the windows. Russell (the technician) did a fantastic job. The result was better than I imagined it would look. I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property.
