"I was really disappointed with my experience. I had high hopes based but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations at all. The service felt rushed and impersonal, and communication was lacking throughout the process. The quality of the product/work wasn't what I was led to believe. issues started showing up pretty quickly. I tried reaching out to resolve things, but didn't feel like my concerns were taken seriously. I understand that not every experience is perfect, but I expected a higher level of professionalism and care. I wouldn't personally recommend this to others based on how things went for me."

"My first interaction started kind of with suspicion, but I relied on good ratings on this site and other sites. Now after the house is complete I should have looked around how to spend over 700 k. They hired subcontractors from the very cheapest spectrum but billed me as if they hired the most expensive specialists. I had overages in most categories without any proof. The builder trend communication they use is confusing, slow and serves the builders interest only, they can edit it anytime too. So if you get quotes from Southernwood do not be happy, the price at closing would magically increase by many many thousands. My basement is already cracked as well as my driveway and I did not even move in yet. I have no water pressure despite spending over 20 grand on upgrading the well and having 70+ psi at well with 3hp motor and 100gallon per min supply. Blame game is ongoing. Too many flies in the ointment. I am sharing for you to make a more informed decision I wish I had. My next step with them will most likely be BBB, then complaint with the Consumer Protection then litigating. I am ready to spend another 15 grand on a lawyer."

"My house had extensive water damage requiring $85K of complex repairs. Insurance paid for it but I had to select a contractor. All South Restoration was recommended to me and I'm very happy that I decided to hire them. First, they identified many repair items that were missed by a professional insurance adjuster and, based on their professional estimate and reputation, insurance agree to pay for additional repairs which saved me many thousands $$$ as otherwise I would have to pay for these repairs from my own pocket later on. Second, despite complexity of the project and current shortages of materials, the project was completed on time, as promised at the beginning, and on budget which means all the house repair cost was covered 100% by insurance and overall the house looks better than before flooding. Third, quality of work and materials is great and as promised with frequent and detail communication during the entire project.
