Designing things like cabinets for schools here in Georgia. Then moving to Michigan and designing to help shutdown General Motors Facility in Detroit, Michigan. "Karen is wonderful in every way.  I was selling a house that had been a rental.  The property was a disaster when we started our renovation (trash everywhere, a rat infestation, filthy urine-soaked carpets, etc), and she worked with me every step of the way--suggesting paint colors, looking at pictures of the house and color swatches (BEFORE she even knew we were for sure going to hire her), and even checking in when she was on vacation.  She spent a ton of time during her initial consultation, and was super cost conscious. She suggested we take pieces of furniture and pictures from my house to save money, and THEN after she'd spent loads of time at the renovation taking measurements and making all kinds of suggestions about what I should address with the renovation, she followed me to where I live and picked out what I should use before finally driving to a furniture rental place and picking out pieces so the house would have more of a lived in feel.  She was going to be away when the furniture got delivered, and she checked in repeatedly while she was on vacation to make sure the delivery went smoothly.  She also ahead of time met me at the house and showed me exactly where to hang pictures and put the furniture.  She also brought extra pillows and sheets to help stage the bedroom.  The property was a little tricky to sell, and I feel certain the staging helped us get the deal done.  Karen is a delight.  I'm sure I'll use her again, and I recommend her with utter and complete enthusiasm.  <br /> <br /> <br />"
