As a local member of the community, I have been in the construction industry for just over 10 years. With experience ranging from general construction needs, to light electrical, and plumbing I have the knowledge it takes to complete a job on time and with excellent quality. \n\nWhy pay more for a large contractor to provide you a simple service when you can save money and have some peace of mind knowing a local member of the community is taking care of your needs and providing exactly what you need.

"Aaron showed up on time with each project, performed the work to my expectations, never charged me more than the written contract price, protected the work area, cleaned up after the job was done, and removed all debris. I couldn't be happier."

"The job went well overall.  I was expecting it to last only about 1 hour, but it took about 3 hours before all was said and done.  However, I was charged for the job itself as opposed to an hourly rate and was relieved by that.  Both fellas who did the job were very courteous and knowledgeable, and they assured me that if there was ever any problem with the installation, they would stand behind it 100%."

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Lead, SD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
