"The winter did a number on my lawn - mostly due to all the rain - resulting in fungus, dead areas, uneven drainage, etc. I’d also struggled with healthy shrubs from a previous company’s error. I found Jon on Angie’s List due to ranking and testimonials. I put in a request for a quote and he came out to take a look. He understood right away what needed attention. I was on the schedule promptly - I might add that I am impatient and a bit of a perfectionist. I cringed each time I went out with my dogs or pulled into my driveway to see my once beautiful lawn in the worst condition and just overrun with weeds. Those irritating kind of weeds that you can’t just pull easily. Anyway, Jon and his team came out and performed magic! They arrived on time - Jon arrived first and was already pulling weeds and doing some prep which included bringing plants over in his VERY nice personal automobile and then the crew arrived with everything else. They removed old mulch and anything else that was not healthy while saving and repositioning others in a better placement. The original quote was a bit more than my budget, but Jon pulled back a few things and reused some of what I had and I was happy. You get what you pay for and I don’t mind doing that for quality service and a new relationship that will maintain the work done. I’m releasing my previous vendor of their duty to fertilize and maintain my lawn and shrubs as it never seemed to thrive with all the money I spent. Jon will help a couple of times a year for maintenance and I know I can count on getting suggestions for how I can maintain things. Oh and he spent much of another afternoon working on my landscape light that wasn’t working properly. We’ll be adding additional lighting this summer, but for now, I will enjoy watching my lawn come back to life and looking through my windows to see pretty flowers and shrubs highlighting my home again! It’s time to have friends over to show it all off and start summer festivities!"

"Initially it went very well.  The workman spent the time to track down the problem and correct it so that all the outdoor plugs were in working order.  There was a reasonable charge to replace the faulty plug.  Everything was working when they left.  However, within a very short time they did not work again.  I called Parco and asked them to come out and see why it was not working.  They did come and said the plug was bad and replaced it.  They told me that the next time it went out the wiring would have to be run through the walls because each time it is replaced some of it is cut off and if someone plugged into that plug and pulled it loose it would require the replacement of the wiring, which would be expensive.  I never used the new outdoor plug or allowed anyone else to and it was not working again.  I called Parco and left a message that the plugs had not been used yet but when I tried they were not working and asked them to call me back.  I needed to  know how much the wiring was going to cost and why it had gone out without being used.  They never returned my call. <br /> So initially I was very impressed with their work.  But after replacing the plug twice...it still doesn't work and they did not call me back.  After they did not call me back it made me wonder if it was ever really repaired or just a short term fix to honor the Big Deal I purchased.  I am still not sure what was going on.  I liked the way they handled everything at first but it just didn't end up working.  And since they are the only ones to ever work on the outdoor plugs since the house was built I don't know why so much of the wiring was cut off that it couldn't be repaired.  If everything was above board then why not call me back? <br />"
