I thought I needed to raise it to raise a vertical support that was holding up a heavy awning assembly. While here Jerry I was able to pry it up with a shovel and we put temporary support under it took no more than about 20 minutes I was amazed and there was no charge thank you so much."

"First off, let me state that Robert and the Sparks Crew had an hour travel time to my home where the work was to be done. Robert started out by being on time for the estimate (I am a stickler for contractors showing up on time and on the day they are supposed to do work) and was always working on the chosen days. <br /> We had a bathroom put into vacation house family room. No small task since all the utilities were on the other side of the house. Robert supplied a detailed estimate, and a explanation of the work to be performed. We had some questions on cost for certain items and Robert explained things very well and worked with us on different options to save money. <br /> The crew came and went over the time that the work was performed. They cleaned up after their work and respected our wishes as to locking up, lights on and off etc. <br /> The sparks attention to detail was fantastic. Concrete work had to be matched, carpet pulled up and put back, doors painted to match, all the little things that seperate a contractor from a professional contractor. Sparks finish work was spot on, they cleaned up after the job was done and didn't bat an eye at the few requests we had on our punch list. Simply put: Sparks was a fantastic contractor with a crew that really cares about their work. I will be using them for a deck this year and an entire remodel in the following year or two. <br /> <br />"

"Very difficult getting a hold of someone. They were to redo my driveway with a seal coat and fill in the cracks. I had purchased an Angie's List big deal for $199.00 to reseal my driveway, but never got to meet the estimator prior to the actual work date. I was sent an estimate the day before they arrived for the additional work that I had requested. I was not happy with the estimate, because it did not reflect what I would have wanted them to do, and it came in the mail just one day before the workers arrived. It would have been nice to speak with the estimator before so that they might actually know the specifics of what I wanted done. <br /> The seal coat looks good however, and the men that came out to do the work were very polite and professional. My disappointment is with the crack sealing and the extra charges for square footage that are not accurate.  <br />"

"I wish I could give them more stars! We hired them to cut down four trees as another local tree service we had was not professional. So glad Dennis and his Earthworks crew were available. They were amazing! Their service was exemplary and the yard looked better than they found it (thoroughly cleaned up). What's most important is they really C-A-R-E and very efficient. "The building was built, workmanship was good. <br /> The biggest problem was the absolute lack of communication. <br /> It would take days and sometimes as much as a week for them to return phone calls, emails or texts. <br /> After many complaints about this they finally assigned a new person to communicate with me. <br /> While she did communicate better than the first person, it would still take a long time to get an answer. <br /> The schedule was the biggest conflict. It appeared like they were building this as a hobby instead of getting someone out there on a daily basis. At times I thought that the job had been abandoned. <br /> The contract was approved in April of 2014, I was told that it would take 2 weeks to get a permit, due to their lack of communication it took months. There were some simple problems with getting survey dimensions, and as the contractor would not return the calls of the surveyor, just like not returning my calls, it dragged on into the summer. <br /> When they did start, they would work a few days, then disappear for a week or so, never letting me know when they would be back. <br /> problems occurred during the job, the holdowns were not installed per plan and the building department would not buy them off until it was re-engineered. The stairway was not built to code and they finally had the inspector declare it as "not habitable area" to buy it off. <br /> This was not a big concern of mine as the stairway was workable for me. <br /> They had told me that the garage would come with an automatic door opener, but as it was not written in the contract, they wanted to charge for it. I declined as with their track record it might have taken another few months to get it installed. <br /> After a lot of hounding they finally finished the job in December."

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"
