"We just had our upstairs bathroom gutted and redone through Monk’s. The whole process was great, from the design service with Zoriana Pogorilets to the final punch list. Nelson Santiago and his crew were amazing. We never had a day without someone working the entire time of the renovation. At times there were as many as 3 people working in that tiny space, working to get it done on time. We always knew what was going and who was in the house. They took great care to protect the areas of our house not under construction, keeping the disruption to the smallest area possible. My wife continued to work from home through the entire process. I’d hire them again and I’d recommend them to anyone with a renovation or repair project."

"Hector and his crew were fantastic and highly professional. I started with hiring his team to paint a hallway, but he did such a maticulous job that I decided to use him for a variety of other things including painting our bedroom, and then our living room. His team is always neat and tidy leaving no trace once they are finished, and they even accomodated for our two dogs. I have a before and after photo of a big crack in my wall foundation that he made dissapear in my hallway and it is truly unbelieveable. I am in the process of hiring him again to do our external painting, he is truly reliable and genuinely a great guy to work with. I highly recommend Hector and even referred him to my (real estate property owning) father who now uses him as his primary painter."

"They did a great job, however I agree that his responsiveness is lacking and he is very difficult to get ahold of. I know a few people who had negative experiences but for the price and his quality, I think he is worth it. Moreover, he painted my whole living room by himself in just 4 hours with 2 coats of paint and it came out great. You should know, when they mention 8' of wall, they count it from the ground up and not from the molding up. I was charged an extra $120 for an additional 4" of wall space which was not painted since it was covered by the molding. No big deal, but just be aware."
