"Ellio, the owner, understood the nature of the corrective action that needed to be taken to address a compromised exterior rear garage wall. He was very professional as were his two workers. They showed up at the time they were supposed to and finished the work in one day. My neighbor remarked as to how nice the wall looked when it was completed. The quality of the work was first rate and his price was very much less than some of the other quotes I received. The workers cleaned up the work site and left it in good order. "Miguel Amaya is not only an honest, fair and hard working person but he has integrity that is truly rare (and uplifting) in this day and age. I live in Westfield, NJ and had him redo my front walkway. Miguel went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the finished product. He was forced to return because I was sold defective SEK Polysweep product by an unscrupulous vendor. Mr. Amaya redid the work by replacing the SEK product with the much better Gator Maxx polymeric sand. if you need hardscaping work done, hire Miguel Amaya, a decent, hard working, honest professional. STAY AWAY from Empire Building Supplies (see my review on them) and SEK Polysweep -- the product is garbage and the people who make/sell it know nothing about being good people who TRUTHFULLY care about fairness and/or their customer. Mr. Amaya would not accept my paying him a second time although he was forced do the job twice through no fault of his own. It was so unjust ** and yet so telling of the type of decent human being that Miguel Amaya is. Unlike the others I dealt with (at Empire and SEK), he was more interested in doing the right thing by me than he was about money. How rare. I was lucky to find such a good person and worker. I highly recommend him."
