"Brian and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job revitalizing & updating an old retaining wall and adding a beautiful new wood fence. Due to the rain & extreme heat we had, the project ran a little late in completing. But we were in no rush! The communication was wonderful, Brian helped with picking out materials & colors, and was even OK with us adding on a few extras. They were very careful around my lilies and lilac tree, which was a HUGE plus for me. We even had neighbors who asked for quotes! "We are so happy with our new patio! The Foundation1 hardscape team was an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time. John was extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the design process. Once they were able to get started, they worked extremely quickly, in the hottest week of the year. They had to dig out and replace our wall/patio completely by hand because our house is raised and getting equipment back there is not feasible. And yet, they worked so efficiently, they made the job seem easy - and it definitely was not! They were also extremely thorough! And were very willing to help me out in small side projects that we added on as we went. Even after the main project was completed, they came back to tackle the tuck-pointing because they didn't want to rush it. They even came back on two separate occasions when I was concerned about the drainage on small spots on the patio. They take a lot of pride in their work and want to make sure their customers are happy. I would definitely hire them again (although they did such a great job, I don't think I'll need another patio for 50+ years.)"

"They do good work except for one major thing.  When it is the rainy season and the ground is 'saturated' from water... their workers don't care what their equipemtn does to your yard.. they still run their machines all over and tear-up your yard.  I've had mud tracks, RUTS, grass uprooted and patches of no grass resulting from this.  This happened more than once .. I was so angry with that.. I cancelled the service.
