"I have a slate roof and a rubber roof and had difficulty finding someone who could do a proper inspection with repairs. I stumbled upon Doherty Slate Roofing in Swampscott, MA. Several houses have slate roofs in our town. I have to say, he did an excellent job in repairing my rubber roof as well as the slate roof, which had missing slates and broken slates. Jason was spectacular. He also repaired the Boston Saddle hips and the flat copper roof. The work was done promptly, and the cleanup was very, very good. I am excited to write this review as we need people like Doherty to give us honest advice and understand this unique roof for repairs. Doherty took extreme care not to drop anything in the garden. The clean-up was excellent. I am ready for the winter and do not worry about leaks and ice damage from the missing slates."

"Everything was great except cleanup. There was a misunderstanding about which shingles we wanted, but Willard made good on it. They even removed a small area where they had installed the wrong shingles and replaced them with the right shingles, all at no extra charge. The new roof looks great. The only problem was cleanup. We found a large number of nails in our yard and on our driveway, and a lot of pieces of plastic lying around."

Tom and Rich returned phone calls immediately and gave me a very fair price. Their workers came quickly and completed the project in a very professional manner. In one full day of work, they were able to take off the old shingles, repair boards and leaks, and reshingle the two steep main roofs of my house. They cleaned up immaculately and were extremely safe. They were respectful of my property and fun to work with. It was a whirlwind of a day, but it turned out perfectly! It was a big job that entailed removing 3 layers of rolled roofing/asphalt shingles; removing original skylight & taking down old dormant chimney to roof line and roofing over both; installing ½ “ plywood and asphalt shingles over new roof. I can’t say enough good things about All Under One Roof. They had a great crew and did a fantastic job. "I first called another roofer who never came inside to look at the stains or went up on the roof. That roofer said by visual inspection he could tell I did not need a new roof and his company only dealt with replacements. But, he hazarded a guess at what was wrong and said if anyone actually went up on the roof, it would cost around $800. I then called Farina who scheduled an estimate; they arrived on schedule. The gentleman came inside and took pictures of the stains. I received an estimate about a week later and was asked to agree to it or not by email. I agreed and about another week passed and they showed up at my house to do the work, again going inside first to look at where the stains were. The actual work took less than an hour-so far, so good. Assuming that the leak is fixed, the only thing that could have been better was if I was told beforehand when they would do the work, instead of their just showing up. Luckily, I was home."

"He arrived and knew what was to be repaired . It was replacing chingels on the roof . When he arrived he looked up and saw exactly the location of where the shingles came from . He's very knowledgeable! He went right to work . And was finished in no time . He did check other areas of the roof for me , thus was on the front main part of the house . I did question him that my husband had told me were going to have to have another roof done in the very near future . I had discussed this with crieg and he said no you don't. Your roof is in good condition right now , and you've still got some years to go here before that is to be done . It was a big relief to me to hear this . "Power Construction did a great job installing the roof and lead flashing the chimney. Just have to wait for a couple of good rainstorms to find out. They initially did a good job of protecting the house with tarps, however, there was a big hole in the center of the tarp and my front stairs got tar on them when they removed the old roof that I had to power wash off. They should repair the tarp. Second, I have a screen porch on the back of my house in which I had just put in new screens and told them to be very careful not to damage the screens. When they removed the old roof from the main house the screen porch was well protected and no damage could have occurred, however, when they removed the old roof from the screen porch they slightly damaged one screen and there were multiple tar marks on the side of the screen porch and some wood siding was damaged. I imagine this type of damage would be typical of any roofer. The project manager on the day of the job was excellent, except he had to leave for a few minutes and something came up and communication with the workers was a challenge since my high school Spanish is not very good, as there was not a lead roofer identified that I should speak to in the event I needed to when he was gone. The workers were all very courteous and attentive to what needed to be done and made sure they cleaned up the yard afterward. Lisa, the point person at the company was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service. She was very helpful and courteous and made sure everything was in order before and after the job was completed. Power Construction offered to come out and replace/fix my damaged screen and to power wash my stairs and walk as soon as I conveyed it to them, however, I had already completed the work as soon as I noticed it. (Happy wife Happy life) When the owner of Power Construction heard I had cleaned up the tar on the stairs and fixed a screen he asked how he could compensate me for my time and materials. I requested Power Construction could replace the gutters on my screen porch and put in a new downspout instead of financial compensation. The owner agreed to have the gutters and downspout replaced at no cost to me. He wants to make sure all customers are 100% satisfied. Once again excellent experience working with Power Construction, I definitely recommend them. My next-door neighbor is actually in the process of contacting them to replace their roof."

"Communication was good. We had to coordinate with removal of solar panels. We were held up a little bit waiting for a building permit but once that was resolved the install was scheduled a few days later. The crew of 7 arrived at 7 AM and worked non-stop until 6 PM. Completing the entire roofing job from removing the old shingles, replacing some wood and installing the new shingles. They cleaned up the entire work area once done. I would highly recommend them for any roofing jobs you might have."
